La compañía irlandesa Ryanair poseerá el 75% de la aerolínea austríaca Laudamotion, que comenzará a volar el 25 de Marzo 2018

La aerolínea irlandesa lowcost Ryanair ha comprado el 24,9% de Laudamotion, la compañía surgida de la quebrada Niki, como primera fase de una adquisición que llegará al 75%, siempre y cuando obtenga la luz verde de Bruselas, informó hoy Laudamotion en un comunicado.

El precio acordado por la mayoría de dos tercios de la propiedad de la nueva aerolínea se situará por debajo de los 50 millones de euros, si bien Ryanair invertirá en el primer año otros 50 millones de euros para cubrir los costes de lanzamiento de la compañía, precisa la nota.

La adquisición está aún sujeta al visto bueno de los órganos de supervisión de la competencia de la Unión Europea (UE). «Ryanair apoya el plan de Laudamotion de crecer y desarrollarse como línea aérea austríaca con sede en Viena», añade el comunicado.

El anuncio se produce pocos días después de que el austríaco Niki Lauda, comprador de la insolvente Niki que pertenecía a la germana Air Berlin, también quebrada, presentara en rueda de prensa en Viena los planes de su nueva empresa.

Laudamotion comenzará a volar el 25 de Marzo 2018 con seis aviones y aumentará esa flota hasta veintiún aparatos con destinos a España, Italia y Grecia. Lauda adquirió a Niki, empresa que él fundó y vendió luego a la alemana Air Berlin, después de que esas dos aerolíneas dejaran de operar. El proceso de insolvencia de Niki, que se declaró en quiebra en diciembre pasado, concluyó el 28 de Febrero 2018.

Según la prensa austríaca, la oferta que pagó Lauda por la empresa, en torno a los 50 millones de euros, superó en su momento a la de otros interesados, entre ellos el grupo hispano-británico de aviación IAG. De 69 años, Lauda presidirá la junta directiva de Laudamotion, asegura el comunicado.

Aerolíneas Argentinas dejó en tierra quince aeronaves por daños ocasionados por granizo

Aerolíneas Argentinas se ha visto cancelar 35 vuelos programados, reprogramación de 49 vuelos y suspensión de la venta de pasajes hasta el domingo por inconvenientes en 15 aviones averiados que no están operativos por causa de granizo.

En medio de esta controversia, voceros de la empresa afirmaron que en este momento hay 15 aviones de Aerolíneas y Austral, sobre una flota total de 81 aeronaves, que están en tierra con distinto tipo de averías causadas por el granizo que cayó en la tarde del miércoles 14. “Muchos aviones no despegaron aquel día a causa de la tormenta eléctrica, y quedaron dañados por el granizo”, dijeron desde la aerolínea de bandera.

El grupo Aerolíneas/Austral reprogramará gran parte de sus vuelos hasta Semana Santa, donde ratificó que ya tiene una ocupación cercana al 90%. La compañía comunicó la decisión como parte de un diagrama de emergencia para llegar en condiciones al miércoles de la semana que viene, cuando comienzan los vuelos de Semana Santa. Fuentes de la aerolínea expresaron que la mayoría de sus aviones averiados podrían ya estar operativos en el curso de este miércoles.

Las reprogramaciones afectaron desde este martes a la mañana servicios con destino a Tucumán, Salta, Bariloche, Río de Janeiro y Montevideo. La falta de los 15 aviones obligó a la empresa a replanificar los vuelos ya existentes para acomodar a los pasajeros en alguno de los 66 aviones que la compañía tiene en condiciones para despegar. Por lo general, los aviones se reparan en los talleres de Aerolíneas Argentinas pero, desde la compañía indicaron que las demoras se deben a que algunos llegaron a despegar y fue la revisión posterior la que detectó algunos daños menores, por lo que quedaron en aeropuertos fuera de Buenos Aires esperando los ajustes y la aprobación del personal calificado.

Según voceros de la empresa, a lo largo de los últimos días se fueron concretando las reparaciones, pero todavía queda pendiente el visto bueno del fabricante, que en este caso es la empresa norteamericana Boeing. “Estamos pidiendo que viajen sus representantes cuanto antes a Buenos Aires para terminar de dar el visto bueno a los aviones. Pero hasta ese momento, estamos con casi 20% de nuestra flota en tierra”, agregaron.

El objetivo de la empresa que encabeza Mario Dell’Acqua es poder llegar con la mayor parte de los 81 aviones listos para despegar a partir del miércoles próximo, que es cuando comienza la temporada de Semana Santa. “Vamos a llegar tiempo, pero para eso fue necesario apelar a este diagrama de emergencia”, dijeron.

Próximo paro gremial

Además, para Semana Santa los pasajeros podrían sumar otro problema. El secretario general de la Asociación de Pilotos de Líneas Aéreas (APLA), Pablo Biró, consideró ayer “una posibilidad cierta” que los gremios aeronáuticos decidan realizar medidas de fuerza durante el feriado extra largo que viene, en rechazo a la política aeronáutica que lleva adelante el Gobierno. “Un paro en Semana Santa es hoy una posibilidad cierta y es lo que surge en las conversaciones que mantenemos los seis gremios aeronáuticos en las últimas horas”, dijo Biró.

La aerolínea de bajo costo SkyUp Airlines ha ordenado aeronaves Boeing 737 MAX

La aerolínea brasileña Gol Linhas Aéreas proyecta dos frecuencias Rosario-Fortaleza en Julio 2018

Gol Linhas Aéreas está tramitando las gestiones para realizar dos frecuencias semanales Fortaleza-Rosario sin escalas. Latam Airlines Argentina ha recibido su 16º Airbus A320-200 a su flota

La compañía Latam Airlines Argentina ha incorporado a su flota un nuevo Airbus A320-200 con matrícula registro LV-HQI (C/N 3319). La aeronave arribó en el Aeropuerto internacional de Ezeiza (EZE), Provincia de Buenos Aires el 11 Marzo 2018, uniéndose a la flota de la aerolínea. El nuevo A320-200 hizo su vuelo de arribo para la Argentina desde la Ciudad de México (MEX), efectuando una escala en Lima (LIM) donde estuvo un tiempo en los talleres contratados para ser pintado con la librea de Latam Airlines.

La aerolínea de las Islas Kiribati reiniciará sus operaciones en Marzo 2018

Air Kiribati inaugurará sus propias operaciones internacionales programadas para el 21 de Marzo 2018 con el lanzamiento de vuelos semanales entre Tarawa y Funafuti, Tuvalu. Las operaciones se efectuarán con el único avión Bombardier Dash 8-100 que la compañía posee.

«Este servicio, creemos, facilitará el crecimiento y desarrollo tanto del turismo como del comercio entre los dos países y promoverá los objetivos del Kiribati Vision 20 (KV20) del Gobierno de Kiribati», dijo a Radio Kiribati el gerente general de la aerolínea, Tarataake Teannaki.

Air Kiribati actualmente se especializa en vuelos a lo largo de la cadena de islas del Pacífico Sur. También es socio de Solomon Airlines que cubre vuelos desde Tarawa a Honiara y a Brisbane Int’l Airport, en Australia.

El fondo buitre Burford Capital Limited ha vendido los derechos por el juicio de Marsans en el Grupo Aerolíneas

El fondo Burford Capital Limited informó que ha firmado un acuerdo definitivo para vender todo su derecho en el caso Teinver. Por lo tanto, la venta representa una ganancia de inversión de U$S 94,2 millones de dólares y un retorno sobre el capital invertido de 736%.

Burford, un fondo que financia inversiones de alto riesgo, fue quien puso el dinero para que el Grupo Marsans pudiera iniciar el juicio en el Ciadi para reclamar por una indemnización después de la estatización de Julio de 2008 del Grupo Aerolíneas, cuando el Gobierno de Argentina a cargo de Cristina Kirchner pagó simbólicamente un peso por la empresa. La venta de Burford era esperada por el mercado ya que el precio que pusiera a la hora de colocar el cartel de venta es directamente proporcional a la expectativa de cobrar de parte de la Argentina.

La firma del contrato de traspaso de los derechos de juicio no se conocen sobre quiénes pagó por estos derechos del fondo buitre. Entonces se conocerá si quién compró tenía o no alguna información que le permita invertir U$S 107 millones de dólares con alguna certeza más.

El contrato de financiamiento del fondo establecía que el máximo que podría cobrar de una eventual indemnización era de 10 veces el monto aportado para sostener el arbitraje. Es decir, vendió en U$S 107 millones un derecho a cobrar, como máximo,U$S 128 millones de dólares. «Esto quiere decir que el que compró sabe que va a cobrar. Nadie va a poner 107 millones si cree que la apelación que interpuso la Argentina pueda prosperar», agregó otra fuente.

Fuentes oficiales admitieron que la negociación entre la Argentina y los síndicos que expresan los intereses de las tres quiebras del Grupo Marsans están dentro de la agenda bilateral que la Casa Rosada tiene con España. Sucede que el fisco español es el principal acreedor de esta deuda con alrededor de € 150 millones de euros. Según Buford, la posibilidad de que la nulidad presentada por la Argentina sea receptada favorablemente en el Ciadi es menor al 3%.
