AW-AA2000_7008

AW-Icon Paragraph-01

AW-700331Aerolíneas health flight to Shanghai

Aerolíneas Argentinas will fly to China to bring sanitary items

The scheduling of an Aerolíneas Argentinas flight for Wednesday 04/15 bound for Shanghai, China will bring necessary sanitary elements to combat the current Coronavirus pandemic in Argentina. The scheduled flight AR1070 will depart from the Ezeiza International Airport on Wednesday 04/15 at 6:30 p.m. from Terminal TCA Puerta 19 with an Airbus A330-200 of Aerolineas Argentinas with a technical stopover in Aukland, New Zealand, to Shanghai, China. The scheduled flight with 52 hours in the air, 38,200 kilometers to travel in three days and with a specific instruction for the crew to never get off the plane.

Aerolíneas Argentinas will make this week the first flight to look for medical supplies to the Chinese city of Shanghai and to the complexity of flying such long distances are added the special care that the coronavirus pandemic imposes. «It is a flight that has nothing to do with the normal operations that Aerolineas Argentinas does, it is much more complex», they say in the company. In fact, it remains to confirm the handling service in China, that is, the ground staff that would load the plane with the supplies, so the date of departure of the plane, originally planned for this Wednesday 15 at 18:30, may be postponed hs, on Thursday 04/16.

EZE-PVG trajectory

The Airbus A330-200 aircraft with ETOPS operations will depart from Ezeiza International Airport (EZE) and will fly over the Pacific Ocean until arriving at Auckland Airport (AKL), New Zealand, on a technical scale where it will load fuel to continue to the International Airport Shanghai (PVG), People’s Republic of China. There will be 38,200 kilometers of flight between round trips, which will require at least 52 hours of flight in four sections along a route designed to have alternative refueling options and airports.

The flight crew will be made up of four complete flight crews, with the aim of guaranteeing the most rested personnel possible before each landing. On board flight AR-1070 it will be made up of a group of 17 crew members made up of 12 pilots (four commanders and eight co-pilots), four maintenance technicians and an aircraft dispatcher, the only woman. Passenger cabin crew (TCP) will not travel.

Aerolíneas Argentinas carried out between the late 1990s and 2014 flights that crossed the Pacific Ocean and arrived directly at Oceania, called transpolar flights carried out with Airbus A340-200 aircraft, four-engine aircraft that allowed them to make a shorter route and were currently replaced for the A330-200 model with two engines and ETOPS operations.

One of the commanders assigned to the flight is Pablo Biró, the Secretary General of the APLA Pilots Guild, who in his role as helm of the scheduled flight has given details about the operation: «The plane we have now has two engines and does not allow us do the route of the transpolar flight, which was closer to the pole. We have to do it much more to the north and the closer to Ecuador you fly, the circle is bigger», explained Biró and specified that, in addition, it is required that the plane always have an airstrip within a maximum of three hours flight distance. That is why a route was defined that departs through Chile and passes to the south of Easter Island, French Polynesia, Samoa, and Fiji.

Sources of Aerolíneas Argentinas explained that this itinerary was arrived at after an exhaustive mapping analysis and that previously it was also evaluated to arrive in China via Africa. Pablo Biró piloted transpolar flights himself and assures that all the pilots that make up the crew have a lot of experience in international flights, but the established crew will be necessary to guarantee the relevant breaks from a colossal 52-hour flight operation in four routes. The crew will sleep in reserved seats on the plane, eat the catering provided by the company and take liquid foam baths to clean themselves. In addition, a remote medical service was hired for any emergency and the expansion of the cartography of Asia, which Aerolíneas Argentinas did not have because it does not regularly use them.

As in all the special services carried out since the closing of the borders in the country, the entire crew volunteered to participate in the operation. «I spent the whole time stopping all governments saying that Aerolíneas Argentinas is a strategic tool that must be preserved. Precisely for this reason, now I cannot stay at home or say that I am afraid of catching it», Biró said of his own motivations.

Sanitary cargo

AW-700338For the stowage of the sanitary cargo, the flight will be carried out in an A330-200 that, as it is a passenger plane, will be loaded with supplies not only in the hold but between the seats, using a network system to hold it. According to company sources, in this way it is possible to increase the cargo capacity of the aircraft by 84%. Although Aerolíneas Argentinas pointed out that the details of the cargo are confidential, it is known that it will be made up of Covid-19 early detection kits, digital thermometers, No. 95 chinstraps and others for surgical use, gloves, biosafety suits, and equipment. minors. In this first flight, respirators will not be brought, although they could be added in other operations that are in the portfolio.

Regarding the cost of the operation, Aerolíneas Argentinas maintained that it is difficult to estimate because it requires various cross services, but they anticipated that it will be financed by funds from both the Nation and the Province of Buenos Aires. The flight is the result of numerous talks between President Alberto Fernández and his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, and the decision to establish binational cooperation in the face of the pandemic. In fact, on Monday 04/13, a flight from China arrived with a cargo of health care in Argentina and another one is expected on 04/15. AW-Icon Paragraph-02

Norwegian Air al borde del abismo

AW-Norwegian-Air_7008AW | 2020 04 15 11:43 | AIRLINES

AW-Norwegian_787Norwegian Air on the brink of the abyss

Norwegian Air makes last attempt to save airline

Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA was on the brink of bankruptcy yesterday Tuesday 04/14 evening when its pilots were warned that there was no liquidity to pay wages. The Norwegian airline is mortgaging everything it owns to try to stay afloat. Hectic bosses are converting debts into shares in an attempt to stop the flattening, but the move is expected to remove the value of existing shares.

Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA is fighting for survival, with a latest plan to convert debt into equity by cutting its share price by as much as 63% during the first frantic trading moments on Tuesday 14/04. Norwegian Air’s proposal will dilute shareholders who already count their losses after the health crisis ruined the company’s efforts to return to profitability. The plan requires creditors, including aircraft lessors and suppliers, to convert up to US$ 4.3 billion (KR$ 44.5 billion) into debt to meet government terms for the carrier to access a state aid package and for a private placement. In the first trade in Oslo since the plan was announced last week, shares suffered their biggest drop and fell to the lowest level since Norwegian Air’s listing in 2003. The decline was 37% at 10:56 a.m. local time. The company was placed under special observation, a move used when the valuation of a security is particularly uncertain.

«Norwegian is at the end of the line», Sanford C. Bernstein Ltd. analyst Daniel Roeska said in a note to clients before the market opened. While there is still hope for the airline, the situation is one of loss for shareholders, he said, downgrading the stock rating to below-zero-price-yield performance.

Widespread travel restrictions due to the Coronavirus pandemic destroyed Norwegian Air’s goals of being profitable again in 2020, after implementing radical measures to cut costs and reduce capacity after years of debt-driven growth. The company’s fleet is now largely on land. The situation also affects the UK staff of the Norwegian airline. There are around 1,000 pilots and crew in the UK who fly to Norway and are employed through its subsidiary OSM.

Last month, the Norwegian government offered loan guarantees to airlines, including KR$ 3 billion for Norwegian Air. But the help came on strict terms: The company has only rated a tenth at the moment, and needs to improve its capital ratio to access the rest. While the government sees airlines as an important infrastructure, it noted Norwegian’s high indebtedness before the crisis and said it does not see state support as an option unless other stakeholders also make an effort.

Norwegian had a total debt of approximately US$ 7.5 billion at the end of the year, with more than US$ 800 million maturing this year. The company is now negotiating the conversion of more than half of its debt before voting on the plan at an extraordinary general meeting on May 4, 2020. The company is also asking shareholders to approve a private placement of up to KR$ 400 million crowns, which would be the fourth in two years. In local media interviews this week, CEO Jacob Schram called on equity investors to stick with the company, arguing that there was a significant advantage ahead.

Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA in 2019 was on the verge of collapse before receiving financial backing from the last gasp to continue. The airline, the eighth largest in Europe and the third largest low-cost airline after Ryanair and easyJet, is in a spiral making its final efforts to emerge from this perfect storm of commercial aviation.

KLM, Qantas Reportedly Flying Final 747 Flights This WeekendAW | 2020 04 14 19:05 | AIRLINES

AW-Icon Paragraph-01

News In Flight – News In FlightAircraft retirement prospects

Airlines withdraw aircraft models due to pandemic effect

The withdrawal of an airplane by an airline fits a narrative that surrounds situations that have a hinge effect in politics or global economy. Just like the consequences of 9/11, the current Coronavirus pandemic is bringing accelerated changes to restructure companies in the face of the global health impact. Perspective with a more rational vision is needed.

The airlines have been evaluating the deprogramming of older aircraft to reduce the economic impact and in the face of the need to reduce their service network, above all to international destinations. Aircraft withdrawals can be modest or significant, depending on the needs of each airline. For example, Lufthansa plans to deprogram three A340-300s. The A340-300s in Air France can be retired under a plan to eliminate redundant fleets, these had deadlines until the first quarter of 2021 in the French country’s fleet. Other planes flew beyond their time. Virgin Atlantic should have recalled its three A340-600s last year, but they were retained for this year to replace the Boeing 787s on the ground while waiting for a Rolls-Royce engine change. KLM Airlines officially planned to withdraw its Boeing 747-400 in 2021, but has accelerated the grounding of its entire fleet due to the impact of the pandemic. The Jumbos were retired in March 2020, although a partially loaded Combi variant is temporarily flying again.

AW-Bahn_Parken_035Even without the effects of a health crisis, there would be withdrawals as part of the aircraft’s natural life cycle. British Airways ended last year with 32 Boeing 747-400s and was expected, before the crisis, to end 2020 with 25 units.

Iberia had 16 Airbus A340-600s at the end of last year, and planned to end this year with just 10 planes. Lufthansa planned to withdraw all of its Airbus A340s and Boeing 747-400s in the middle of this decade, so the first leg would have been retired in the near future anyway.

The main victim of the pandemic crisis is the colossal Airbus A380. Capacity increases later this year will be gradual and will not initially require the A380, the world’s largest passenger jet. Lufthansa German Airlines planned to phase out six Airbus A380s in 2022, but has brought grounding forward to 2020. Air France was aiming to withdraw all 10 A380s by 2023, and may withdraw them earlier, according to various local reports.

Pin en AviationAIRBUS A380-800 OF LUFTHANSA

It is expensive to store an airplane in the short term. There are parking charges and fees for maintenance work required at least once a week. This recession may clean up some retained marginal capacity airlines because the economies were strong and the planes depreciated for the most part or entirely, making them cheap to fly as they had little or no cost of ownership.

Rather than withdrawing older aircraft, Lufthansa redeployed some for strategic purposes. Some were used to increase the flight from its secondary center in Munich. That helped extract concessions from Frankfurt Airport, Lufthansa’s main hub. Other aircraft were dispatched to subsidiary airlines to pressure pilot unions on Lufthansa’s main brand.

Retirements are only part of business development. Europe’s major airlines have large numbers of aircraft in order to replace older aircraft and provide net growth. Lufthansa planned to receive 60 wide bodies, most by 2025. Air France planned to increase its wide-body fleet from 107 last year to 118-123 sometime this decade. British Airways orders include 18 of the new 777-9s.

As for commercial aircraft orders, some orders are being canceled, others reformulated. Deferrals are most likely, especially in the short term. Air France expects to receive Airbus A350s in May and June 2020 as planned, but is reevaluating deliveries of the A350 and Boeing 787 due in the fourth quarter (4Q2020).

Perspective

The current health crisis will continue to cause a drop in the capabilities of the airlines, but not permanent or long-term, as could be seen in the effects of 9/11, which was more related to a crisis in aviation security, where the crisis of The economy was already weakening, in part due to the bursting of the Dotcom bubble. Aircraft withdrawals were accelerating prior to September 11, 2001.

Aviation and other sectors enter this recession from a high base of the airline economy. Immediately before the Coronavirus crisis, the proportion of the world’s parked aircraft fleet was at a record low. AW-Icon Paragraph-02

Discusiones renombre de China Airlines

AW-Straittimes_70004AW | 2020 04 14 13:09 | AIRLINES / GOVERNMENT

AW-Icon Paragraph-01

AW-Flickr_7004China Airlines Renowned Discussions

The changes are due to the effects of the pandemic in mainland China

Taiwan’s largest airline, China Airlines, has become the island’s latest focus of political distress over identity and its relationship with China amid the Coronavirus pandemic. The issue of the self-governing Republic of Taiwan, has lit the political arena with the People’s Republic of China (Mainland) since the virus began to spread worldwide.

Political overtones

Taiwan’s official name is the Republic of China, a throwback to the end of the Chinese Civil War in 1949, when the nationalist government fled to the island after losing to the Communists, who established the People’s Republic of China on the Asian mainland. Although the word «Taiwan» figures prominently in Taiwanese passports, its largest airline retains the name of China Airlines. Some politicians in Taiwan say that has caused confusion, particularly when the airline delivered facial masks to Europe.

Images of boxes with large Taiwan flags that were downloaded from a China Airlines freighter last week in Europe started the renewed debate. «When China Airlines delivered materials this time, everyone thanked Taiwan. But because China Airlines has the word ‘China’ on its fuselage, some countries, people and images mistakenly thought that China had sent them the masks, causing us a lot of pity”, Prime Minister Su Tseng-chang said Tuesday.

The New Power Party Political Party, which shares the support of the current Government of the Progressive Democratic Party (DPP) for the formal independence of Taiwan, asked parliament to remove or reduce the English word «China» from the airline and to add the word «Taiwan». Even Taiwan’s democracy and freedom can be misinterpreted by the international community as coming from China, because of that name.

China Airlines, majority owned by the Taiwanese government and often mistaken for China’s flag carrier, Air China or from China, has reported that favorable comments have been received for the name change for the Taiwan Island airline. The reputation of the company is now in the process of being studied and discussed internally.

Prime Minister Su Tseng-chang, however, noted that a name change was not imminent and that China Airlines should focus on putting more Taiwan symbols on its plane. «As for the long-term name change for China Airlines, it may not be that simple, as it involves flight rights and other factors,» he added. The name of China Airlines has been debated before. Any name change would be fraught with difficulties, and it is unclear how China claiming sovereign rights over the island could react. The current name China Airlines favors the recognition of mainland China over the identity of the island; and at the same time the idea could be unpopular on a national level.

In 2018, voters defeated a referendum calling on the island to participate in future Olympic events like «Taiwan» instead of the current pledge name, «Chinese Taipei». Many Taiwanese fear the move will enrage Beijing and jeopardize the island’s place in the games. AW-Icon Paragraph-02

Rumania solicita asistencia aerolíneas

Tarom continua buscando equilibrio |AW | 2020 04 13 12:15 | GOVERNMENT / AIRLINES

AW-Icon Paragraph-01

Airlines request € 130 million euros to the European Union

Romanian Government authorities have started talks with the European Commission (EC) body to obtain financial support worth approximately € 130 million Euros for the two airlines in the country, Tarom Airlines owned by the State of Romania, and Blue Air Privately owned, said Transport Minister Lucian Bode.

Both companies have been strongly affected by the new Coronavirus pandemic, as most of their flights have been gradually suspended. Both companies were seeking financing even before the pandemic, although Blue Air was in a visibly better position after reaching break-even point last year, while Tarom Airlines was in dire need of a rescue loan. «We are talking about € 65 million euros for each company, so it would take € 130 million euros to save the two companies. We have sent a note to the Competition Council”, said Minister Bode.

The European Commission agreed, in February 2020, that the Romanian state would grant Tarom a temporary loan worth approximately € 36.7 million Euros. The loan was supposed to be repaid in 6 months, or Tarom would present a liquidation plan or carry out a comprehensive restructuring to be viable in the long term. Such possible restructuring would be subject to evaluation and approval by the Commission. Meanwhile, Blue Air applied for a rescue loan from the Romanian government, but only after the breakdown of air traffic when both airlines suspended passenger flights. Both airlines currently operate only cargo transportation, mainly with sanitary equipment. AW-Icon Paragraph-02

Australia analyzes rescue benefits to airlines

Home | Community Grants HubThe Australian Government is in talks with the airlines of its country to analyze the possibilities of being able to arrange auxiliary or financial assistance due to the global pandemic. Australian airlines have requested assistance from the State to ensure the maintenance of the airlines. Qantas Airways and Virgin Australia Airlines have pointed to the need for subsidy assistance for domestic flights.

The guarantee of connectivity to the regional centers will allow the entry and redirection of the flow of passengers returning from abroad, as well as those who need to arrive at their homes within the country. Deputy Prime Minister Michael McCormack has been working hard negotiating with Virgin Australia Airlines and Qantas Airways to reopen some domestic services long before the national blockade is lifted. Airlines are so far reluctant to operate these phantom routes, as it would involve running nonprofit flights and exposing their crews to possible infection from returning visitors. The Australian government has not specified how much the monetary assistance contribution will be for air routes, but negotiations are ongoing. The goal of these grants would be to reopen abandoned airports first, and Australia’s trunk route system.

Subsidies from the Australian state will continue to assist airlines. Meanwhile, Qantas has communicated that it has enough cash reserves to continue flying for a year under these conditions; while Virgin Australia is in a more disadvantaged situation, as the airline has asked the Australian government for a bailout of around A $ 1.4 billion (US$ 890 million), but as only 10% of the company is owned by Australian investors, with 90% of shares spread between Singapore Airlines, Etihad Airways, and the Chinese government through intermediaries, the government is not enthusiastic. These state-provided subsidies will allow airlines to continue operations to assist in the repatriation of their citizens and to offset the serious consequences of the aviation crisis. Virgin suspende ops temporales

Boeing and Virgin Atlantic Announce 787 Order, Environmental PartnershipAW | 2020 04 12 12:12 | AIRLINES

AW-Icon Paragraph-01

Virgin Atlantic | LinkedInVirgin suspends temporary ops

Virgin Atlantic has suspended its commercial passenger operations

Celebrity Cruises | Weekend Sale Event | CaribbeanVirgin Atlantic Airways has temporarily suspended all of its air operations until the end of April 2020. «Following the rapid acceleration of COVID-19 and extensive travel restrictions, along with a sharp drop in customer demand, Virgin Atlantic continues to review its program flight every day and has made the decision to move most of its current scheduled services to cargo-only services from April 20-26», the airline said in a statement.

As a result of the current pandemic crisis, the airline has announced that between 20 and 26 April 2020, it will only operate cargo services. The British company’s cargo flights will cover the connection routes between London-New York 21-26/04; London-Hong Kong 20-26/04 and London-Los Angeles 20-26/04. The airline has planned flights to Shanghai, China. For cargo flights between April 20-26 only, the Civil Aviation Authority special waiver will allow Virgin to transport cargo both in its aircraft cargo hold and in the cabin. Scenes from inside other flights operating cargo-only flights have shown boxes tied to fill the seats where passengers would normally sit. Virgin’s cargo operation not only saw its first flight as a result of the Coronavirus, but has proven to be an essential core of Virgin’s business. As passenger demand has dropped dramatically, Virgin’s cargo business has helped the airline continue its operations.

Virgin Atlantic also said it is working with the Commonwealth and Foreign Office to operate repatriation flights where necessary. The massive reduction in Virgin Atlantic operations is not a surprise. Last month, Virgin Atlantic CEO Shai Weiss said that as a result of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the airline would land 85% of its fleet in parts of April 2020.

Virgin, long-range

Manchester Airport Chief Charlie Cornish has called on the UK government to take the necessary steps to salvage Virgin Atlantic from the collapse, as the country’s airlines urge the government to extend its support during the Coronavirus crisis.

Virgin Atlantic is one of the largest long-distance airlines at the airport, transporting nearly 1 million people a year to New York, Los Angeles, and Atlanta. «These services are directly benefiting the economies of Manchester and the surrounding region. Virgin Atlantic’s capacity growth has been essential in enabling Manchester to become one of the best-connected European airports in the United States», Cornish wrote.

Virgin Atlantic Airways has applied for a state aid package of business loans and guarantees worth hundreds of millions of pounds. The coronavirus crisis has caused serious disruption to the aviation industry as airlines have been forced to ground most lights. But Virgin specializes in the long-distance sector, which is expected to be the hardest hit by the pandemic. The airline had just £ 83 million available in net cash according to its latest report, and leases 75% of its 46 aircraft.

Manufacturers Airbus and Rolls Royce have also asked for support for the airline. It comes as industry bodies ask the government to extend its support to airlines, warning that the current outage was «probably just the beginning».

In a joint statement last week, ADS Group, Airlines UK and the Airport Operators Association said the UK aviation, aerospace and travel sectors were at risk of falling behind in the country’s economic recovery if they did not take the appropriate measures. They called for the trade tax relief measures already taken for retail, leisure and hospitality to be extended to aviation, a step that the Scottish government has already taken. They also said that the job retention scheme should extend beyond May, while the financial support schemes should be available to all companies. «Ensuring that the aviation and aerospace sectors can recover fully and quickly when the restrictions are lifted will support a broader recovery in UK trade that is vital in limiting the economic cost of the Covid-19 crisis», they said.

The UK government has said it will consider bailout requests «as long as all other government schemes have been explored and all business options have been exhausted, including raising capital from existing investors». AW-Icon Paragraph-02

AW-Fri.fr_711Governments of Europe prepare rescue

European governments would nationalize airlines

Following abrupt market changes in the commercial aviation and tourism sector, the governments of Europe are preparing to plan a rescue of the airlines so that they can continue their existence. Although not all governments will be able to cope with airline bailouts, many will be hit by the effects of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Alitalia case

alitalia-logo-2015After many twists and turns to get a purchase offeror regarding Alitalia airline, the pandemic effect has brought a hinge turn to the strategies of the Italian airline. This lethal blow directly affects the capital of the world’s airlines; But in the case of Alitalia, it has brought an opportunity for the Italian Government to carry out a rescue after its nationalization as the only alternative present for the Italian airline.

Alitalia in bankruptcy since May 2017, has not been able to get an offeror who showed a strong commitment to acquire the company. On Monday, April 6, 2020, by law, the Government has promulgated the injection approval of 25,000 million Euros to articulate the crisis in the airline sector. The Ministry of Economy and Finance will assume control of the airlines Alitalia and Alitalia Cityline S.p.A.

The Italian Government had closed the offer of interested parties for Alitalia on March 18, 2020, as the deadline to rescue the group, establishing a cap on May 31, 2020, as the deadline for the sale of Alitalia. For now, the winds of change will allow the airline to be renationalized, giving a complete turnaround to the future of the Italian flag carrier.

Air France-KLM Group

The members of the Board of the Air France-KLM group will participate in the effort in accordance with the measures applicable to the employees of both companies to reduce their remuneration.

«As the crisis continues, conditions for a recovery remain uncertain, both in terms of our air operations, and more generally in terms of the economic recovery and demand schedule. Our best current estimates, which incorporate the measures mentioned above, show that in the absence of additional financing, a liquidity requirement is expected in the third quarter of 2020», they express from Air France-KLM Group.

Air France and KLM have entered into in-depth talks with their respective governments and financial institutions to provide the resources that will enable them to secure and maintain adequate levels of liquidity for all means, in particular within the framework of the European Commission’s Temporary Framework on State aid in force published on March 19, 2020. At this stage, given the various options currently being considered and the quality of discussions with the two states and financial institutions, the Air France-KLM Group is confident that it will be able to obtain additional financing to meet with all its future financial obligations and enable it to ensure the recovery of its activity beyond the current crisis.

Autorizan vuelos expatriación

AW-Wikipedia_Buenos_Aires_-_Aéroport_International_Ezeiza_-_Janvier_2010AW | 2020 04 10 10:17 | AIRLINES / GOVERNMENT

AW-78788WkExpatriation flights authorized

Argentine Government will authorize flights from other companies for repatriation/expatriation

The National Civil Aviation Administration (ANAC) of Argentina will be in charge of analyzing the request of other airlines to carry out special flights that transfer expatriation passengers. The Government of Argentina will authorize the airlines that request it, the possibility of making a special flight to transfer passengers who are in our country and could not travel on the regular flights that last arrived on Monday 06/04, they confirmed sources of the Ministry of Transport of the Nation.

The authorization will be channeled by the National Civil Aviation Administration of Argentina, which was instructed in this regard by the Transportation portfolio and will be in charge of analyzing each particular request and, consequently, working with the Health authorities. The condition to be able to make the flight, which will be sanitary, is that, on your trip to Buenos Aires, you bring Argentines who are stranded abroad and were unable to board any of the regular flights that arrived until 06/04 or they do not take place on special flights scheduled by Aerolíneas Argentinas.

There are several companies that analyze the possibility of completing a flight of these characteristics, taking into account the number of Europeans and Americans who are in Argentina without having been able to return to their countries of origin. “Each order is being analyzed and will be resolved promptly, one at a time. It is a total emergency situation, in which decisions must be made to bring a solution to the problems that each traveler presents. We are faced with a complex panorama, with the closing of borders and circulation, with strict sanitary measures, and each of these situations must be considered before each decision», said the Transport Ministry.

ANAC has expressed that “substantial measures are being taken, doing everything possible so that these flights are finally carried out and the Argentines who are abroad can return to their homes. We are talking to airlines around the world, trying to specify flights that every stranded Argentine can access. There is a team at ANAC that is working overtime to be able to provide the necessary solutions since this started, with a body of doctors who do not rest at airports”. AW-Icon AW002
