El Ministerio de Transporte de Japón aplicará sanciones a las aerolíneas por pérdida de piezas de aviones
El Ministerio de Transporte de Japón llevará a cabo inspecciones rápidas de los cuerpos de los aviones en el Aeropuerto Haneda de Tokio e impondrá sanciones administrativas a las aerolíneas si las piezas de los aviones se desprenden atentando a la seguridad de los pasajeros y las poblaciones.
La decisión del Ministerio se produjo después de una serie de incidentes que involucraron la caída de piezas de aeronaves en tierra, así como de una mayor demanda de medidas para proteger a las personas en el terreno.
Actualmente no hay reglas disponibles para castigar a las aerolíneas por piezas de aviones caídas. El Ministerio de Transportes revisará las regulaciones relevantes para que pueda emitir órdenes de mejora comercial de acuerdo con la gravedad de los incidentes.
Las funciones de orientación y supervisión del Ministerio de TRansporte se fortalecerán en el Aeropuerto de Haneda, donde se espera que aumenten las cifras de vuelos antes de los principales eventos internacionales, incluidos los Juegos Olímpicos de verano y Paralímpicos de Tokio 2020.
El número de trabajadores del gobierno central estacionados permanentemente en el aeropuerto, con la tarea de verificar el estado de los cuerpos de los aviones y el mantenimiento, se incrementará para permitir inspecciones más frecuentes y más largas. El Ministerio planea comenzar a operar el nuevo sistema antes del año fiscal 2020.

The orientation and supervision functions of the Ministry of Transporte will be strengthened at Haneda Airport, where it is expected that the flight figures will increase before the main international events, including the Summer Olympics and the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.

New flight routes through downtown Tokyo are being weighed to accommodate an expected increase in arrivals and departures at Haneda airport. But if the routes are revised, the planes will fly low over Shinjuku, Shinagawa, Minato, Ota and other halls in downtown Tokyo.
The Ministry of Transport of Japan also plans to establish a framework in which the central government provides «sympathy money» for the damage caused by the fall of aircraft parts.
