TUIfly Belgium recibe su primer Boeing 737-8 MAX

El primer Boeing 737-8 MAX fue incorporado a la flota de TUIfly Belgium el 29 de Enero 2018. La aerolínea adquirirá nueve aviones adicionales en el transcurso del año.

La INAC de Venezuela suspende licencia a la aerolínea Santa Bárbara Airlines por 90 días

El Instituto Nacional de Aeronáutica Civil (INAC) ha suspendido por 90 días el Certificado Explotador del Servicio de Transporte Aéreo (AOC) adjudicado a Santa Bárbara Airlines C.A.

La INAC precisó que la suspensión desde el día 26 de Enero 2018 se hizo pública su aplicación mediante el comunicado oficial público de la suspención por 90 días consecutivos del Certificado Explotador del Servicio de Transporte Aéreo (AOC) Nº BBR-022 de la compañía aérea Santa Bárbara Airlines. Las razones de la suspensión radica en que el explotador aéreo no posee la capacidad para continuar con la prestación del servicio aéreo programado, afectando el servicio público de transporte aéreo. La INAC ha establecido unos noventa días para que la aerolínea pueda revertir las deficiencias operativas de SBA Airlines y brindar asistencia al pasajero. “Deberá demostrar, en el marco del procedimiento legalmente establecido, el adecuado cumplimiento de la normativa técnica y legal vigente que rige la materia, lo cual determinará o no el reinicio de sus operaciones”, expresa el informe ofical de la INAC.

El INAC expresa el compromiso por proteger los derechos de los usuarios, los empleados y los deberes de la compañía por brindar un mejor servicio a los pasajeros.

Santa Bárbara Airlines (SBA) deberá demostrar su capacidad técnica para ajustarse a la normativa aeronáutica vigente en Venezuela dentro del plazo de 90 días, en medio de un panorama económico difícil de sostener, no deseando que sea una víctima más de la convulsionada Venezuela.

Interjet será el primer operador aéreo del Airbus A321NEO en México

La línea aérea low-cost de México, Interjet anunció que incorporará el primer Airbus A321NEO a su flota de aviones convirtiéndose en la primera aerolínea en México en operar esta aeronave. Interjet encomendó una orden de ocho A321NEO que recibirá en este 2018.

El nuevo A321NEO permitirá a Interjet responder con eficiencia a la creciente demanda. La nueva aeronave está equipada con motores CFM Leap X1A, que permiten una disminución de la huella acústica del 50%, con un ahorro de hasta el 20% en el consumo de combustible, así como una reducción de la emisión de gases en cerca de cinco mil toneladas anuales.Estará configurado para transportar 192 pasajeros con asientos de diseño italiano tipo Slim de la marca Geven. Ésta es una de las mejores soluciones ergonómicas en el mercado de aeronaves de este tipo, además de que se ajusta a las características que Interjet busca para brindar el mayor confort a sus clientes ofreciendo el mayor espacio entre asientos (34 pulgadas). Contarán con la tecnología de proyección llamada eXO, la cual se compone por monitores de proyección retráctiles de gran formato de 12 pulgadas a 1080p y con posibilidad de recibir transmisión de contenido inalámbrico en un futuro. Ello crea una experiencia similar al cine y permite a los pasajeros ver contenido de video en alta definición en pantallas de gran formato

Lima Airlines obtuvo permiso como nuevo explotador aéreo

La nueva aerolínea de Perú, Lima Airlines ha obtenido permiso para ofrecer transporte aéreo de pasajeros e inicia sus operaciones con 40 rutas para explorar operaciones de aviación comercial en el transporte aéreo regular de pasajeros, carga y correo, luego de la resolución directoral emitida por la Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil.

Lima Airlines solicitó el año pasado, vía dos documentos enviados en abril y mayo del 2017, el permiso de operación de aviación comercial en el Perú. La compañía aérea podrá cubrir con derechos de tráfico de tercera, cuarta y quinta libertad destinos en América del Norte (Canadá, Estados Unidos y México). En América del Sur (Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay, Uruguay y Venezula), así como de Centroamérica y el Caribe, Europa, África, Asia y Oceanía.

Las bases de operaciones de Lima Airlnes estarán en los aeropuertos internacionales Jorge Chávez y Rodríguez Ballón en Lima y Arequipa. Otras escalas serán Cuzco, Pucallpa, Iquitos, Chiclayo, Trujillo y Tacna.

Lima Airlines brindaba vuelos privados en Perú desde el 2012, ahora en 2018 fue aprobada como transporte aéreo regular de pasajeros, carga y correo a nivel nacional.

Norwegian Air Argentina obtiene certificado CESA para comenzar a volar en Argentina

Norwegian Air Argentina recibió el Certificado de Aeronavegabilidad Estandar (CESA) para iniciar sus operaciones aerocomerciales en Argentina y el exterior.

El Ministro de Transporte, Guillermo Dietrich, recibió ayer al CEO global de la empresa, Bjorn Kjos, y al CEO de Norwegian Air Argentina, Ole Christian Melhus, para hacer entrega del Certificado de Aeronavegabilidad Estándar (CESA) otorgado por la Administración Nacional de Aviación Civil (ANAC). Se trata del último paso antes de que cualquier nueva empresa empiece a volar en la Argentina, y ratifica las condiciones técnicas y legales de las aeronaves para que comiencen a operar de forma segura.

Se convertirá en la segunda aerolínea low cost de la Argentina, luego de FlyBondi. Entre las rutas otorgadas por el Gobierno nacional, a través la resolución 1288-E/2017, 152 rutas nacionales e internacionales. Entre las rutas internacionales se encuentran las que conectan ciudades del interior como Córdoba, Mendoza y Rosario, que verán ampliada su oferta para conectar con destinos internacionales sin pasar por Buenos Aires.

Junta de Aviación Civil ordena suspensión por 90 días de operaciones aerolínea PAWA

La Junta de Aviación Civil (JAC) acogió a unanimidad las consideraciones presentadas mediante oficio por el Instituto Dominicano de Aviación Civil (IDAC), relacionadas con el incumplimiento de pago de las tasas y servicios aeronáuticos y aeroportuarios por parte de aerolínea PAWA Dominicana, ordenando la suspensión por noventa días del Certificado de Autorización Económica (AOC) que le autoriza a realizar operaciones desde y hacia territorio nacional.

En la resolución dada a conocer este sábado se le otorga a la aerolínea un plazo de diez días hábiles para que presente los alegatos o pruebas que estime convenientes en favor de sus intereses, debiendo cumplir durante el plazo de su suspensión con todos los requerimientos establecidos en el Manual de Requisitos de Junta de Aviación Civil. La Junta de Aviación Civil hace saber sobre la Resolución No. 12-(2018) acorde a las atribuciones que le confiere la Ley No. 491-06, modificada por la Ley No. 67-13.

La Junta de Aviación Civil, estableció en el comunicado que dispondrá de un personal en el Aeropuerto Internacional de Las Américas Dr. José Francisco Peña Gómez, para asistir y orientar a los pasajeros que resulten afectados por la suspensión de las operaciones de la aerolínea PAWA Dominicana.

Qatar Airways recibirá el primer Airbus A350-1000. La entrega del primer Airbus A350-1000 se realizará en Febrero 2018

Airbus Group entregará el primer avión A350-1000 a una aerolínea a Qatar Airways entre el 15 al 20 de Febrero 2018, dijo hoy sábado el Presidente Ejecutivo de la aerolínea, Akbar al-Baker. La entrega del avión de pasajeros bimotor más grande de Europa al cliente de lanzamiento Qatar Airways iniciará la apertura de los vuelos comerciales de esta nueva versión del A350. Qatar ha ordenado un pedido total de 37 A350-1000.

Persiguiendo la calidad

La principal aerolínea de Medio Oriente es conocida por ser un cliente exigente al revisar los aviones por defectos de calidad antes de la entrega. Qatar Airways se negó en el pasado a recibir aviones por lo que dijo eran problemas de calidad, y también canceló algunas entregas. La entrega del primer Airbus A350-1000 el cliente de lanzamiento estuvo retrasada por problemas en la instalación de asientos en clase ejecutiva. La compleja configuración de asientos de la Qsuite de Qatar Airways, clase ejecutiva con asientos enfrentados y camas dobles planas, retrasó la entrega del A350-1000, hasta Febrero 2018. «Estamos progresando muy bien para recibir nuestro avión en algún lugar entre el 15 y el 20 de febrero», dijo el presidente ejecutivo de Qatar Airways, Akbar al-Baker, a los periodistas en Doha.

A350-1000 apuntando al liderazgo

Airbus espera «entregar el primer A350-1000 del mundo a Qatar Airways en las próximas semanas», dijo el director de operaciones de Airbus, Fabrice Bregier, en un comunicado de prensa emitido por la aerolínea.

El A350-1000 será el primer avión Airbus que contará con el Qsuite, que fue presentado el año pasado y que se ha instalado en los aviones Boeing 777 de Qatar Airways, dijo Akbar al-Baker.
