Air France lanzó oficialmente su nueva aerolínea de bajo coste «Joon» en el día de hoy

La nueva filial de la aerolínea francesa Air France comienza a operar a principios de diciembre. El objetivo de la aerolínea es captar a una clientela más joven y restaurar algunas rutas a la rentabilidad.

Aeropostal cesó sus operaciones por problemas técnicos. Peligra la quiebra luego de 88 años de sericios en Venezuela

La aguda crisis pilítico-económica que atravieza Venezuela no solo las aerolíneas internacionales están dejando de operar, lasa complicaciones para las aéreas de este país le está costando cada día despegar con mayor seguridad.

Aeropostal, que con dos vuelos a Porlamar este sábado y uno el domingo, cesó sus operaciones tras el vencimiento de las horas de vuelo del único avión que permanecía operativo.

Aeropostal dispone de una nómina de más de 12.000 trabajadores que están en riesgo de quedar sin trabajo tras el cierre de operaciones de la aerolínea. “Este lunes, todo el personal de rampa y mecánicos debemos estar en los hangares. No sabemos qué está previsto a partir del cese de las operaciones. Todos estamos en la incertidumbre”, expresó uno de los trabajadores de rampa.

La falta de repuestos es la que ha llevado a este desenlace de Aeropostal, según un mecánico de la empresa, los aviones están esperando por turbinas para que puedan estar operativos.

Southwest Airlines marcará el comienzo de un nuevo capítulo en la historia de la compañía el 1 de octubre con el lanzamiento del Boeing 737 MAX

British Airways está expandiendo su red africana, comenzando los servicios a Seychelles, ofreciendo más vuelos a Mauricio y agregando más asientos en otras rutas

El servicio de Seychelles se llevará a los cielos entre marzo y octubre y será operado por la nueva flota de aviones de la aerolínea, el Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. A partir de finales de octubre los actuales tres Boeing 777 servicios de Gatwick a Mauricio se ampliará a cinco por semana.

Air Malta debe separar las operaciones en tierra de las actividades de vuelo, como parte de los esfuerzos para mejorar su situación financiera

El cese ha causado afectación a más de 38.000 pasajeros entre el miércoles día de inicio de huelga hasta hoy sábado. Las conversaciones entre las partes continuarán el día de hoy

La huelga de los pilotos de Avianca, que hacen parte de la Asociación Colombiana de Aviadores Civiles (Adac), continúa. Para hoy se espera que se prosiga con los diálogos en busca de concertar acuerdos para levantar el cese de actividades convocado por los trabajadores.

De acuerdo con reporte de la aerolínea, que corresponde al balance del jueves 21 de septiembre, 266 vuelos fueron operados, lo que equivale al 53 por ciento, mientras que otros 233 tuvieron que ser cancelados, es decir, el 47 por ciento. El informe también indica que 27.745 pasajeros fueron transportados, incluyendo los 5.432 viajeros que se reacomodaron. Este jueves, el total de pasajeros afectados fueron 20.104.

Esos datos indican que el número de afectados por la huelga subió entre un día y otro en 1.192, puesto que el miércoles esa cifra fue de 18.912 personas con problemas en sus itinerarios. Ese mismo día que comenzó el cese de actividades, según la compañía, de ese total fueron 14.678 personas las que no pudieron viajar, otras 4.234 fueron reacomodadas y 31.948 fueron movilizados por la compañía. En total, fueron 178 vuelos los que se cancelaron y 293 operados.

Por otro lado, a raíz de la coyuntura, LATAM Airlines Colombia ha recibido en promedio más de 2.500 pasajeros diarios adicionales. El transportista de lujo La Compagnie, ha anunciado un pedido de dos Airbus A321NEO que reemplazarán a los Boeing 757-200 de la aerolínea en sus vuelos transatlánticos entre Paris (CDG) y Newark (EWR). Se espera que los nuevos aviones Airbus sean entregados para 2019.

Luego de una pulseada para el reemplazo de los viejos Boeing 757, La Compagnie tenía como candidatos el Boeing 737-9 MAX como así el Airbus A321NEO. La negociación pulsó en favor de Airbus que se lleva la victoria con su A321neo, el modelo que ha arrancado una gran parte de la mitad del segmento de mercado (MoM) de Boeing. El A321NEO sigue siendo el avión más vendido en el segmento de rango medio. La aerolínea francesa buscaba no alterar el esquema de negocios implementando una aeronave que no estuviese en el modelo adecuado para sus operaciones transatlánticas.

Boeing está perdiendo un segmento muy importante en las unidades de negocios al no tener un reemplazo apropiado en el segmento del rango medio, donde la batalla tiene un claro vencedor el A321NEO. 

 

The Compagnie orders A321NEO

The luxury carrier La Compagnie has announced an order for two Airbus A321NEOs that will replace the airline’s Boeing 757-200s on its transatlantic flights between Paris (CDG) and Newark (EWR). The new Airbus aircraft are expected to be delivered by 2019.

After a pulse for the replacement of the old Boeing 757, La Compagnie had as candidates the Boeing 737-9 MAX as well as the Airbus A321NEO. The negotiation struck in favor of Airbus that takes the victory with its A321neo, the model that has taken off a large part of the half of the market segment (MoM) of Boeing. The A321NEO remains the best-selling aircraft in the mid-range segment. The French airline sought to avoid altering the business scheme by implementing an aircraft that was not in the right model for its transatlantic operations.

Boeing is losing a very important segment in business units by not having an appropriate replacement in the middle range segment, where the battle has a clear winner the A321NEO. A \ W

La aerolínea brasileña Azul ha ordenado cinco Airbus A330-900NEO, con entregas en 3Q2018

Azul Linhas Aéreas tomará en arriendo las aeronaves A350-900NEO de Avolon y se utilizarán en los servicios a los Estados Unidos y Europa.

Finalmente la aerolínea Azul Airlines ha confirmado las órdenes de los flamantes Airbus A350-900NEO, después de idas y venidas.

«Estamos muy contentos de volver a crecer. Estos nuevos aviones jugarán un papel clave en la expansión de nuestros mercados internacionales, apoyando nuestra estrategia de tener una flota moderna y eficiente en el consumo de combustible», dijo el presidente ejecutivo de Azul Airlines, John Rodgerson.

Azul opera actualmente una flota de 123 aeronaves Airbus y Embraer.Los cinco A330-900NEO son parte de una orden de 15 unidades que tiene Avolon con Airbus Group.

Samoa Airways tiene intensiones de incorporar el Boeing 737 MAX a su flota

La aerolínea samoana recibiráun Boeing 737-800 de la arrendadora Neos de Italia a través de un acuerdo negociado por Icelandair unidad islandesa de Loftleidir, para 12 de Noviembre 2017, expresó Lautafi Fio Selafi Purcell, Ministro de Obras Públicas. Al mismo tiempo la empresa está buscando necesidades futuras de capacidad. «Al final de la línea, esperamos alquilar o adquirir un avión Boeing 737 MAX para 2019 para expandir los servicios de Samoa Airways a otros destinos como Melbourne Tullamariney Brisbane Int’l en Australia», dijo.

Una vez que las operaciones de Samoa Airways se hayan estabilizado, Purcell dijo que el plan es la transición del arrendamiento de wet-lease (alquiler aeronave con tripulación) a dry lease (alquiler aeronave sin tripulación). Este período de tiempo permitirá a la aerolínea capacitar al personal samoano necesario para tener tripulación propia.

Como sucesora de Virgin Samoa, Samoa Airways comenzará operaciones el martes 14 de Noviembre 2017. Las rutas asignadas son: Apia—Auckland (Nueva Zelanda) con seis vuelos semanales, así como Apia—Sydney (Australia) con dos servicios por senama.

Samoa Airways has plans to incorporate the Boeing 737 MAX into its fleet

The Samoan airline will receive a Boeing 737-800 from Italy’s Neos lessor through an agreement negotiated by Icelandair Iceland’s Loftleidir unit, for November 12, 2017, said Lautafi Fio Selafi Purcell, Minister of Public Works. At the same time the company is looking for future capacity needs. «At the end of the line, we expect to rent or purchase a Boeing 737 MAX aircraft by 2019 to expand Samoa Airways services to other destinations such as Melbourne Tullamarine and Brisbane Int’l in Australia,» he said.

Once the operations of Samoa Airways have stabilized, Purcell said the plan is to transition from wet leasing to dry lease. This period of time will allow the airline to train the Samoan personnel necessary to have its own crew.

As a successor to Virgin Samoa, Samoa Airways will commence operations on Tuesday, November 14, 2017. Apia-Auckland (New Zealand) with six weekly flights, as well as Apia-Sydney (Australia) with two services per senama. A \ W
