Norwegian Air Argentina, la flamante aerolínea de bajo costo de Argentina, nombró a Matías Maciel como director de Comunicaciones y Asuntos Públicos para Sudamérica. Avian Líneas Aéreas inició sus operaciones formalmente en Argentina

La aerolínea Avianca Argentina realizó ayer el primer vuelo directo que unió San Miguel de Tucumán (Tucumán) e Iguazú (Misiones).

El vuelo despegó a las 07:25 hs en el Aeropuerto Benjamín Mantienzo de la Propvincia de Tucumán, arribando dos horas después al Aeropuerto Iguazú. Los pasajeros de este primer vuelo, cuya frecuencia se confirmará en las próximas semanas, fueron funcionarios, periodistas y un grupo de empresarios y operadores turísticos de Tucumán.

Según el gobernador tucumano Juan Manzur, quien presenció el despegue del primer vuelo lde Avianca Argentina a la Provincia de Misiones, se trata de un día histórico. “Estamos dando un paso concreto para conectar a Tucumán con toda la región del Nordeste de Argentina. Hoy Tucumán está conectado con la región y con el mundo. Esto es una realidad, un hecho concreto”, detalló, y agregó que con esta nueva ruta aérea “se potenciarán el turismo, el comercio y la industria locales, lo que permitirá mejorar el trabajo y la competitividad de los tucumanos”.

La coordinadora comercial de Avianca, Fabiana Staneika, resaltó la importancia de lograr la primera conexión aérea directa entre el NOA y el NEA. “Para nosotros es muy importante realizar este primer vuelo”, aseguró la directiva, quien adelantó que a fin de año la empresa comenzará a operar con vuelos directos para unir a Tucumán con Córdoba y con Buenos Aires.

Un avión de Aerolíneas que debía volar a Rosario abortó su salida por un desperfecto técnico. Los pasajeros estaban a abordo y fueron invitados a descender. Serán trasladados a Aeroparque, desde donde partirán alrededor de las 13.30 hs

Un avión de Aerolíneas Argentinas que tenía previsto partir hoy, a las 7.15, de Ezeiza con destino a Rosario abortó su vuelo por un desperfecto técnico. La aeronave, con unos 50 pasajeros en su mayoría rosarinos, fueron invitados a descender después esperar más de una hora a bordo.

El inconveniente se debió a un desperfecto en una de las puertas del Boeing que habitualmente hace el servicio Rosario-Buenos Aires. Se trata del vuelo AR 2702, que tenía previsto, una vez arribado al aeropuerto de Fisherton, seguir vuelo con destino a Iguazú, en Misiones.

Después de una larga y tensa espera en la Terminal C de la estación aérea de la ciudad de Buenos Aires, el servicio fue cancelado. No obstante la aerolínea informó a los pasajeros que serán trasladados a Aeroparque, desde donde partirán a las 13.30.

En tanto en el Aeropuerto de Rosario, la gente que tenía boletos para volar a Iguazú esperaba novedades sobre qué pasará con su vuelo. Las autoridades de la estación aérea confirmaron a Dierio La Capital que la responsabilidad de la demora y cancelación de los servicios, en este caso, es exclusiva e Aerolíneas Argentinas.

Flyadeal comenzará sus operaciones el 23 de Septiembre 2017

Flyadeal cubrirá vuelos domésticos con sede en Jeddah, Arabia Saudita iniciando su vuelo inaugural el 23 de septiembre 2017 con dos vuelos diarios entre la ciudad portuaria de Jeddah y Riyadh, capital de Arabia Saudita y principal centro financiero.

La fecha de lanzamiento, anunciada previamente, es significativa porque es el Día Nacional saudí, que conmemora el aniversario del establecimiento del Reino de Arabia Saudita.

AIRBUS A320 DE LA AEROLÍNEA FLYADEAL

Flyadeal también dio más detalles de su producto, que seguirá un modelo de «sólo pagar por lo que usted necesita». Los pasajeros tendrán un subsidio libre de equipaje de mano de 10kg, que la aerolínea describe como «el más generoso de llevar en la concesión de cualquier otra línea aérea en Arabia Saudita que ofrece un producto de clase económica». La puesta en marcha también probará un áerea reservada para las mujeres, de acuerdo con la cultura local.

Flyadeal aseguró su certificado de operadores aéreos (AOC) el 13 de septiembre y ha recibido dos nuevos Airbus A320, con planes para construir a ocho aviones durante los próximos 12 meses. La aeronave operará en una configuración de clase única de 186 asientos con una inclinación de asiento de 28 pulgadas, aunque varias filas en la parte delantera de la cabina tendrán un tono de 30 pulgadas.

«Al ofrecer opciones y un gran precio flyadeal claramente está buscando para satisfacer las demandas de los viajeros conscientes del presupuesto en Arabia Saudita», dijeron desde la aerolínea.

Flyadeal, que servirá en última instancia a rutas nacionales e internacionales, es propiedad de la Saudi Arabian Airlines Corporation y es compañía hermana de la compañía nacional Saudia.

La aerolínea rusa Azimuth Airlines lanzará su primer vuelo el 21 de septiembre

Luego que la aerolínea Azimuth Airlines recibió el certificado de operador aéreo a fines de Agosto comenzará sus primeras operaciones en Rusia. La compañía con sede en Rostov-on-Don, que contará con una flota de Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100s), tomó la entrega del primer avión en Julio 2017.

Azimuth Airlines iniciará sus operaciones el 21 de septiembre de 2017 comenzando su primer vuelo entre el Aeropuerto de Moscú-Vnukovo y el Aeropuerto Omsk-Tsentralny.

Desde el 10 de octubre, Azimuth unirá con frecuencia diaria Rostov-on-Don—St. Petersburgo y el diario Krasnodar—St. Petersburg. Dos veces por semana el servicio de Rostov-on-Don—Novosibirsk comenzará el 29 de octubre. Azimuth lanzará servicios semanales de Rostov-on-Don—Samara y Ekaterimburgo a partir del 31 de octubre. La red de la aerolínea incluirá 100 rutas.

Delta despide al «Jumbo»

Las aerolíneas Delta Air Lines y United Airlines desprogramarán la flota de Boeing 747-400 poniendo fin a la era de los Jumbos

Los clientes y empleados de Delta comenzaron a despedirse de la flota Boeing 747-400 de la aerolínea mientras el avión operaba su vuelo final Tokyo-Narita a Honolulu. Después de llegar a Honolulu desde Tokio-Narita por última vez, el avión fue conducido a través de Los Ángeles en su camino de regreso a Detroit. United retira sus Boeing 747-400

El vuelo final de Boeing 747 será a Hawai el 7 de noviembre

United Airlines ha añadido un vuelo especial de «despedida» desde San Francisco a Honolulu que servirá como su operación final de pasajeros en el admirado avión Boeing 747-400.

Habrá un tema de «retroceso» para el vuelo, con las tripulaciones de United poniéndose uniformes «retro» de la era de 1970 y sirviendo opciones de menú inspiradas en los años setenta. Las opciones de entretenimiento en vuelo también saldrán de los años setenta. Todo es parte de un esfuerzo de la aerolínea para recrear la atmósfera que los pasajeros habrían experimentado en el primer vuelo 747 de United en 1970, que también voló de San Francisco a Honolulu.

United withdraws its Boeing 747-400

The final flight of Boeing 747 will be to Hawaii on November 7

United Airlines has added a special «farewell» flight from San Francisco to Honolulu that will serve as its final passenger operation on the admired Boeing 747-400 aircraft.

There will be a «kick-back» theme for the flight, with United’s crew uniforms «retro» from the 1970s and serving menu options inspired by the 1970s. Flight entertainment options will also come out of the seventies. It’s all part of an effort by the airline to recreate the atmosphere that passengers would have experienced on United’s first 747 flight in 1970, which also flew from San Francisco to Honolulu.

Horizon Air dice que ya no puede volar a Colorado Springs desde Seattle porque no tiene suficientes pilotos. Horizon dice que enfrenta una escasez de pilotos por al menos otro año, según un comunicado de prensa del aeropuerto de Colorado Springs. Skywest flies 20 new Embraer E175 aircraft to Alaska and while Horizon has ordered 30 similar aircraft, it only has two in the air and recently delayed the delivery of six of the Brazilian passenger aircraft. Horizon mainly flies well used Q400 bombers. Skywest has ordered five more E175s to use on the Alaska routes and the Horizon pilot syndicate filed a lawsuit that disputed Horizon’s postponement of its E175 delivery. A \ W
