Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras ha firmado un nuevo acuerdo de accionistas entre los accionistas mayoritarios David Gary Neeleman, Trip Participações SA, Trip Investimentos Ltda., Rio Novo Locações Ltda., CALFINCO, Inc. y Hainan Airlines Co. Ltd.
La aerolínea brasileña Azul Linhas Aéreas fue lanzada en 2008 por el fundador de jetBlue Airways, Azul había hecho repetidos intentos de ir a bolsa bursátil desde 2013. Finalmente tuvo éxito a principios de este año, elevando BRL2.021 millones (USD543 millones) en una oferta dual en los intercambios de Sao Paulo y de Nueva York.
De acuerdo con los términos del nuevo acuerdo, los accionistas preferentes tienen ciertos derechos sobre el nombramiento de los Consejeros al Consejo, dependiendo de su tenencia, y los derechos de primera oferta en la transferencia de acciones.

Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras has signed a new shareholder agreement among the majority shareholders of the company, which is owned by David Gary Neeleman, Trip Participações SA, Trip Investimentos Ltda., Rio Novo Locações Ltda., CALFINCO, Inc. and Hainan Airlines Co. Ltd.
The Brazilian airline Azul Linhas Aéreas was launched in 2008 by JetBlue Airways founder, Azul had made repeated attempts to go public on the stock exchange market since 2013. Finally it was successful earlier this year, raising BRL2,021 million (USD543 million) dual offer in the exchanges of Sao Paulo and New York.
