Aerolíneas Argentinas registra mejora en sus operaciones en Agosto 2019

En medio de un clima político incierto y un mercado aerocomercial que no deja de perder rentabilidad, Aerolíneas Argentinas registró en Agosto 2019 una mejora significativa en sus operaciones. La línea aérea estatal mostró resultados positivos tanto en cantidad de pasajeros transportados como en nivel de ocupación y puntualidad.

Aerolíneas Argentinas informó que finalizó Agosto con 1.182.506 pasajeros transportados, que representan un aumento de 6% contra el mismo mes del año 2018. El factor de ocupación de las aeronaves fue superior al 80%. Del total de pasajeros transportados el mes pasado, 901.332 personas lo hicieron en vuelos doméstico. Los vuelos de cabotaje mostraron un índice de ocupación del 80,4%, con una suba de 6,5% respecto del mismo mes de 2018. En los vuelos internacionales también hubo una mejora visible. Viajaron 279.843 pasajeros, con un aumento de 9% contra Agosto 2018. La ocupación llegó al 82,4%, 7,7 puntos más que en Agosto del año pasado. En los primeros ocho meses del año los pasajeros transportados sumaron 8.889.483, una cifra que es 3% superior al mismo período del año pasado. La puntualidad promedió 89% en agosto, valor similar al de agosto del año pasado, cuando se ubicó en el 90,8%.

Mercado convulsionado

Los efectos del mercado en Argentina enmedio de la crisis político-económica, la nueva devaluación del peso y las constantes subas en el precio del combustible afectaron la rentabilidad de todas las líneas aéreas que operan en el país, que siguen volando a pérdida ya enfrentando una elevación de los costos operativos. Las líneas aéreas que operan en el país están pendientes de lo que puede pasar a partir de Diciembre 2019 por los efectos de un presunto cambio de gobierno.

La gestión del Grupo Aerolíneas ha podido bajar a US$ 200 millones de dólares anuales los subsidios que necesita para funcionar. Huracán Dorian se acerca a la costa este provocando más de 1.350 cancelaciones de vuelos

Las cancelaciones de vuelos de aerolíneas superarán los 1.350 por segundo día consecutivo el Martes 03/09, cuando el Huracán Dorian se dirija hacia la costa Este de los Estados Unidos. A partir de las 05:30 a.m. del Martes las aerolíneas ya han cancelado 1.354 vuelos en vuelos de cabotaje e internacionales.

Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA está buscando renegociar deuda con acreedores

Airbus entrega a Kuwait Airways primer Airbus A320NEO

Kuwait Airways ha tomado entrega del primer Airbus A320NEO el Viernes 30 Agosto 2019 en la factoría de Finkenwerder, Hamburgo, Alemania. El Presidente CEO de Kuwait Airways, Youssef Al-Jassem presente en una ceremonia en la que Kuwait Airways recibió el primer avión Airbus A320NEO del fabricante europeo, en Hamburgo, Alemania. El CEO expresó que era «un momento importante en la historia de la compañía y que estaba muy feliz de haber recibido el avión equipado con tecnología de punta y eficiencia de ahorro de combustible».

La nueva aeronave Airbus A320NEO, que volaría a la República de Kuwait hoy Sábado 31/08, marcaría el inicio de la entrega de un total de 28 A320NEO hasta 2026, que se uniría a los 10 Boeing 777-333 ER en operaciones. El nuevo A320NEO está configurado con capacidad para 134 pasajeros, este avión es el primero de 15 aviones A320NEO que se unirán a la flota 13 aeronaves de otras versiones de Airbus.
