Aeropuerto de Bruselas estrena primer duty free sin humanos

En Bélgica, dos empresas, Largardère y Atos han trabajado conjuntamente para terminar el diseño de un punto de venta Duty Free sin impuestos totalmente automatizado. La tienda se llama «Quick N’Easy» (Rápido y fácil) y ya está operativa, vendiendo cervezas y chocolates. En modo de prueba, el comercio abrió al público. El viajero que entra ha de escanear su tarjeta de embarque y desde ese momento puede escoger todos los productos que desee. Con una tecnología sofisticada, todo se carga en la tarjeta de débito o de crédito en el momento de abandonar la tienda.

El Director del Aeropuerto de Bruselas-Zaventem, Arnaud Feist, dice que «estamos siempre trabajando para mejorar la experiencia de nuestros clientes, dando por supuesto que la atención automática es un deseo del cliente y no la voluntad de ahorro de las empresas vendedoras. Con esta solución innovadora una compra se puede hacer rápidamente y autónomamente, sin necesidad de escanear los productos».
