Binter Canarias firma financiación cinco nuevos aviones

La aerolínea Binter Canarias, España, ha rubricado a principios de Febrero de 2023 un acuerdo de financiación para la compra de cinco nuevos aviones Embraer E195-E2 con un consorcio bancario en Gran Canaria. Con el préstamo, Binter quiere comprar un total de cinco aviones E195-E2 del fabricante brasileño de aviones Embraer, que se entregarán en 2023 y 2024. Los tres principales bancos españoles Caixabank, Banco Santander y BBVA pertenecen al sindicato bancario. Binter fue asesorada en los preparativos para la financiación de la ampliación de la flota por las consultoras KPMG y Deloitte.

«Seguimos apostando por ampliar nuestra flota con aeronaves eficientes que cuenten con las características necesarias para seguir prestando el mejor servicio posible a nuestros clientes. Este tipo de aeronaves nos permite ampliar nuestras conexiones entre Canarias y destinos nacionales e internacionales, con el confort y la calidad propios de Binter», ha señalado el Presidente de Binter, Rodolfo Núñez, en un comunicado de prensa fechado el 3 de Febrero de 2023. El Vicepresidente de la aerolínea, Alfredo Morales, destacó que «la fortaleza del balance de Binter y la confianza de los bancos han permitido abordar esta importante operación».

La renovación de la flota de Binter ha sido una constante desde que la compañía fue adquirida por empresarios canarios en 2002. Desde entonces, la compañía ha comprado 42 aviones ATR en operaciones sucesivas por más de € 900 millones y 10 aviones Embraer por más de € 731 millones. Gracias a este importante esfuerzo inversor, Binter ha podido consolidarse como la aerolínea con una de las flotas más modernas y jóvenes de Europa. Según el proveedor suizo de servicios de información en el sector de la aviación, Ch-aviation, Binter tiene una de las flotas más jóvenes de Europa con una edad media de 4,8 años.

Embraer E195-E2 para Binter

El E195-E2 es el avión más grande y moderno de la familia de aviones bimotores de media distancia de Embraer, el cuarto mayor fabricante de aviones del mundo después de Airbus, Boeing y Bombardier. Binter ha seleccionado una configuración para las aeronaves E195-E2 con 132 asientos con una sola clase y un cómodo espacio entre asientos de 79 centímetros.
