Boeing nuevo escenario crisis diplomática EEUU-China
Las nuevas tensiones generadas entre Estados Unidos y China hacen añicos la esperanza de Boeing sobre las futuras ventas de aviones comerciales. Tras los incidentes con un globo espía de la República Popular de China y el derribo por parte de los Estados unidos, han generado un nuevo distanciamiento en las relaciones diplomáticas entre ambos países. Si bien la guerra de Rusia en Ucrania presenta un problema de política exterior más urgente para el presidente Biden y sus asesores, han dicho repetidamente que China es el mayor desafío a largo plazo para el poder estadounidense, incluso cuando los dos países mantienen sólidos lazos comerciales.
El episodio del globo espía que se desarrolló en los cielos sobre los Estados Unidos la semana pasada y el aumento resultante de las tensiones diplomáticas han subrayado eso. La semana pasada, Estados Unidos rastreó lo que los funcionarios describieron como un globo de reconocimiento chino sobre los estados continentales, en lo que sería un acto agresivo de recopilación de inteligencia sobre sitios sensibles de seguridad nacional estadounidenses. Después de ser visto sobre las Islas Aleutianas de Alaska el 28 de Enero de 2023, el último globo viajó sobre el estado y luego sobre Canadá, llegando al norte de Idaho el 31 de Enero de 2023. Horizonte oriental lejano
Las relaciones entre China y Estados Unidos se han deteriorado aún más en los últimos días, y aunque la tensión entre los países no es nada nuevo, cada paso hacia abajo en las relaciones entre las superpotencias pone al mundo en una situación aún más incierta.
