Aerolíneas Argentinas ha inaugurado la ruta Buenos Aires/AEP—Valle del Conlara/RLO el Jueves 1 de Diciembre de 2022. La ueva ruta representa un gran logro para la Provincia de San Luis, Argentina en el avance de integración de pueblos y turismo. El desembarco histórico de Aerolíneas con dos frecuencias regulares (2Frq/S) los Jueves y Domingos, permitirá conectar a la región Noreste de la provincia puntana.

Actualmente, Aerolíneas Argentinas vuela a la Provincia de San Luis, a la capital, San Luis de Loyola Nueva Medina de Río Seco. En otra etapa, la compañía volaba a Villa Mercedes, localizada en el Centroeste de la provincia. Los vuelos inaugurales de Aerolíneas Argentinas al Aeropuerto Valle del Conlara preceden a las frecuencias estacionales realizadas por LADE Líneas Aéreas, una aerolínea de fomento argentina.

Los vuelos Buenos Aires/AEP—Valle del Conlara/RLO son realizados con aeronaves regionales Embraer E190-100AR con capacidad para 96 asientos distribuidos en Premium Economy (8) y Economy (88).

El CEO de Aerolíneas Argentinas expresó en el marco inaugural de la ruta doméstica trigésimo-séptima: “Se trata de un hecho histórico para la ciudad, para la provincia y para Aerolíneas Argentinas. Este vuelo significa para nosotros, además, la inauguración simbólica de una temporada de verano que genera mucha expectativa en todo el país y ahora también en la Ciudad de Merlo”.

El Aeropuerto Internacional Valle del Conlara RLO/SAOS/SRC es un aeropuerto que se encuentra ubicado en Santa Rosa de Conlara a 18 km al sudoeste de la Ciudad de Merlo, la tercera ciudad de la Provincia de San Luis. Fue inaugurado en Diciembre de 2002. Cuenta con terminal, una manga de embarque y una pista de hormigón de 2550 m de largo y 45 de ancho.​ Se ubica a un costado de la Ruta Nacional 148 y su predio ocupa 400 ha. A fines del 2013, recibió una autobomba de última generación. Esto permitió que el aeropuerto ascienda a la Categoría 5 de la OACI. ​En 2014 comenzó las obras para ampliar su capacidad operativa. En Septiembre de 2022 se anunció que el Aeropuerto Valle del Conlara recibirá vuelos regulares de Aerolíneas Argentinas. El Aeropuerto Valle del Conlara ha recibido vuelos regulares, chárters y estacionales a través de la historia de compañías como Macair, Baires Fly, Southern Winds Líneas Aéreas (SW), Sol Líneas Aéreas y LADE Líneas Aéreas.

Aerolíneas Argentinas has inaugurated the Buenos Aires/AEP—Valle del Conlara/RLO route on Thursday, December 1, 2022. The new route represents a great achievement for the Province of San Luis, Argentina in the advancement of integration of towns and tourism. The historic landing of Aerolíneas with two regular frequencies (2Frq/S) on Thursdays and Sundays, will allow connecting to the Northeast region of the San Luis province.

Currently, Aerolíneas Argentinas flies to the Province of San Luis, to the capital, San Luis de Loyola Nueva Medina de Río Seco. El COMAC C919 desarrollado por la Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. obtuvo su certificado de producción el Martes 29 de Noviembre de 2022, lo que permite que el modelo entre en producción de línea en masa. La COMAC Ltd. desarrolló el C919, como aeronave comercial de transporte de pasajeros ha obtenido el certificado de la Administración Regional de China Oriental de la Administración de Aviación Civil de China.

El C919, que efectuó con éxito su vuelo inaugural en Mayo de 2017, obtuvo el pasado mes de Septiembre 2022 su Certificado de Tipo, un documento expedido para indicar la aeronavegabilidad del diseño. China otorgó oficialmente el certificado de producción a su avión medio de pasajeros con el que el gigante asiático quiere dar un golpe en el mercado aeronáutico, el C919, para empezar así su producción a gran escala. La Corporación de Aviones Comerciales de China recibió el certificado por parte de la Administración de Aviación Civil de China (CAAC). «El proyecto debe terminar adecuadamente», afirmó entonces el Presidente chino, Xi Jinping, quien destacó la importancia de «seguir trabajando para superar cualquier dificultad».

El COMAC C919, rival de las familias de aviones de pasillo único Airbus A320NEO y Boeing 737 MAX, recibió un certificado de tipo a fines de Septiembre 2022 declarando que el modelo cumplía con los requisitos de aeronavegabilidad y ambientales, pero cada uno de los aviones fabricados necesitaba la aprobación individual del regulador para ser producido. Contour Airlines ha inaugurado un nuevo destino al Aeropuerto Charlotte en el Estado de Carolina del Norte (NC). La nueva ruta conecta Aeropuerto North Central West Virginia/CKB—Charlotte/NLT. Contour Airlines ha iniciado este servicio regional el Jueves, 1 de Diciembre de 2022. El vuelo inaugural despegó a las 08:25 a.m. desde la terminal CKB para volar al Aeropuerto Internacional de Charlotte (CLT) en Carolina del Norte. Esta nueva aerolínea proporcionará acceso conveniente, sin escalas y de conexión desde y hacia el aeropuerto NKB.

Contour Airlines has inaugurated a new destination at Charlotte Airport in the State of North Carolina (NC). The new route connects North Central West Virginia Airport/CKB—Charlotte/NLT. Contour Airlines has started this regional service on Thursday, December 1, 2022. The inaugural flight took off at 08:25 a.m. from the CKB terminal to fly to Charlotte International Airport (CLT) in North Carolina. This new airline will provide convenient, non-stop and connecting access to and from NKB Airport.

North Central West Virginia Airport is a public airport one mile northeast of Bridgeport and six miles east of Clarksburg, in Harrison County, West Virginia (WV). Charlotte-Douglas International Airport/CLT, is an international airport in Charlotte, North Carolina (NC), located approximately six miles west of the city’s central business district.

North Central West Virginia Airport Director Rick Rock, along with several other officials, took the 08:25 a.m. the return flight to CLT to celebrate the partnership. While most flew back, Rick Rock took the opportunity to visit his family and learn more about the Charlotte community. Dr. Joshua Hall, WVU’s Milan Puskar Dean of the John Chambers College of Business and Economics, also took this flight to attend a business trip in Charlotte.

Contour Airlines offers twelve weekly flights (12Frq/S) to Charlotte, with two round trips available each day. These services are not offered on Wednesdays and Saturdays. All of Contour’s aircraft are Embraer E145s, which traditionally seat between 37 and 50 passengers. However, CEO Matt Chaifetz mentioned that they have reconfigured it to only accommodate 30 passengers, giving each passenger on board the equivalency of first-class legroom. Condor Airlines ha anunciado la incorporación del primer Airbus A330-900NEO. Condor receives 1st A330NEO

Condor Airlines has announced the incorporation of the first Airbus A330-900NEO. The addition of the new A330-900NEOs are powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 turbofan engines that add around 1,000 NM of range and can operate on Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). On a per-passenger basis, that’s 12.72 miles per gallon, certainly more fuel-efficient than any single-occupancy vehicle running on petroleum fuel. Additionally, noise pollution will be reduced by around 40% compared to the original A330s. New winglet designs extend the wingspan to increase lift and reduce drag.

The seating configuration for the A330-900 will have 30 Executive Class seats, 64 Economy Premium Class seats and 216 Economy Class seats. The cabins also come with ambient lighting, and all seats will come with in-flight entertainment options, WiFi, and additional support for personal electronic devices with USB-A/USB-C plugs.

Condor Airlines hat die Aufnahme des ersten Airbus A330-900NEO bekannt gegeben. Die Neuanschaffung hat den Testflug vom Werk in Toulouse am 28. November 2022 durchgeführt, um später an das deutsche Freizeitunternehmen ausgeliefert zu werden, was den Meilenstein zur Einführung des Typs in die Flotte der Fluggesellschaft markiert. Das Flugzeug A330-900NEO hat die Werksregistrierung F-WWCX mit der Versionsnummer A330-941N. Im Rahmen der Flottenaktualisierung wird die Fluggesellschaft mit der Deprogrammierung der Boeing 767-Linie (9) beginnen, um die Einführung des neuen modernen A330NEO-Flugzeugs zu ermöglichen, das einen effizienteren Betrieb ermöglicht. Arabia Saudita anuncia la transformación del Aeropuerto de Riyadh

En el marco del plan Vision 2030, el Reino de Arabia Saudita anuncia la modernización y ampliación inmediata del Aeropuerto Rey Khaled de Riyadh/RUH. El proyecto forma parte de las iniciativas para convertir a Riyadh en una ciudad económica importante a nivel global a través del desarrollo de la aviación. El anuncio es realizado por el Príncipe heredero Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Primer Ministro y Presidente del Consejo de Asuntos Económicos y de Desarrollo (CEDA), Presidente del Fondo de Inversión Pública (PIF). La presentación del proyecto coincide con la realización de la Cumbre del Consejo Mundial de Viajes y Turismo (WTTC) que se desarrolla por estos días la capital saudita. El futuro aeropuerto es una ampliación de la infraestructura actual. Se construirá en el desierto al Este del complejo actual aprovechando los terrenos alejados de la zona urbana. De esta manera, el desarrollo aeroportuario no se verá afectado por la expansión de la capital.

Como parte del posicionamiento global del Reino, el futuro nuevo aeropuerto de la capital saudita está pensado para calificar entre los más grandes del mundo por su extensión, infraestructura y tecnología. Cubrirá un área aproximada de 57 kilómetros cuadrados (Km2) e incluirá al actual aeropuerto Rey Khaled. El área de movimiento dispondrá de seis pistas paralelas y 12 Km2 de instalaciones adicionales de carácter operacional, comercial, logística, de recreación y áreas residenciales. El objetivo es crear una verdadera ciudad aeroportuaria, similar a otros proyectos que se están llevando a cabo en Dubái o Doha, por ejemplo.

El nuevo complejo llevará el nombre del Príncipe heredero: aeropuerto internacional Rey Salman. Cuando esté listo podrá procesar hasta 120 millones de pasajeros para 2030 y 185 millones de pasajeros para 2050. Toda la construcción incorporará aspectos de sostenibilidad en el diseño y operación, destacando el uso de la energía renovable. En el diseño de edificios y terminales estarán basados en la cultura local, mientras que a través de la tecnología se busca asegurar una experiencia de alto nivel rápida y eficiente para los viajeros. El aeropuerto está pensado para ser funcionar como un hub y puente entre Oriente y Occidente. De resultar el proyecto aeroportuario más el desarrollo de las líneas aéreas, Riyadh podría convertirse en un aeropuerto hub con alcance global en los próximos veinte años. Airbus Group has revealed that it is developing a hydrogen-powered fuel cell engine. The propulsion system is being considered as one of the possible solutions to equip its zero-emission aircraft that will enter service in 2035. Airbus will begin ground and flight testing of this fuel cell engine architecture on board its ZEROe demonstration aircraft around the middle of the decade. The A380 MSN1 flight test aircraft for new hydrogen technologies is currently being modified to carry liquid hydrogen tanks and their associated distribution systems.

«Fuel cells are a potential solution to help us achieve our zero emission ambition and we are focused on developing and testing this technology to understand if it is feasible and viable for a 2035 entry into service of a zero emission aircraft. At scale , and if the technology targets are achieved, fuel cell engines could be capable of powering hundreds of passenger aircraft with a range of approximately 1,000 nautical miles. By continuing to invest in this technology, we are giving ourselves additional options that will inform our decisions on the architecture of our future ZEROe aircraft, which we aim to launch development in the 2027-2028 time frame», said Glenn Llewellyn, Airbus Vice President Zero Emission Aircraft.

Airbus identified hydrogen as one of the most promising alternatives to power a zero-emission aircraft, because it does not emit carbon dioxide when generated from renewable energy, its most important by-product being water. There are two ways in which hydrogen can be used as a power source for aircraft propulsion. First through the combustion of hydrogen in a gas turbine, second, by using fuel cells to convert hydrogen into electricity to power a propeller engine. A hydrogen gas turbine can also be coupled with fuel cells instead of batteries in a hybrid-electric architecture. Hydrogen fuel cells, especially when stacked together, increase their power output allowing for scalability. Additionally, an engine powered by hydrogen fuel cells produces zero NOx or contrail emissions, offering additional decarbonization benefits.

Airbus has been exploring the possibilities of aviation fuel cell propulsion systems for some time. In October 2020, Airbus created Aerostack, a joint venture with ElringKlinger, a company with more than 20 years of experience as a supplier of fuel cell systems and components.
