Retorna operaciones con normalidad

La aerolínea de bajo costo Ultra Air ha anunciado que, luego de haber cerrado todos sus canales para que los usuarios no compraran tiquetes, la crisis financiera se ha superado y por eso retomaría operaciones con normalidad. Adicionalmente, adoptará las medidas administrativas interpuestas por las autoridades aéreas colombianas.

La aerolínea ha mencionado, a través de un comunicado, que “los accionistas han capitalizado la empresa, fortaleciendo su posición financiera y dándole continuidad a la operación y a la prestación del servicio público esencial”. Asimismo, pidieron disculpas por los cambios que se han presentado en el itinerario de algunos vuelos en las últimas 24 horas, pues las operaciones se vieron afectadas por aeronaves que tuvieron que entrar en mantenimiento no programado. “El equipo de Ultra Air está al frente para reincorporarlos en el menor tiempo posible, bajo los más rigurosos estándares de calidad”, mencionó la low-cost.

Aunque la situación de la aerolínea se mejoró, la compañía le pide al Gobierno que le brinde soluciones a largo plazo, pues indican que la situación actual de la industria aérea en Colombia sigue siendo compleja. En cuanto a las medidas administrativas adoptadas por las autoridades colombianas, mencionó que las acatará. Asimismo, “implementará un plan de reestructuración de su itinerario, para ser más eficientes y mejorar los resultados financieros de la empresa”.

Por su parte, la Aeronáutica Civil (Aerocivil) en las horas de la tarde del Jueves 23/03 mencionó que la aerolínea Ultra Air continuaría presentando sus servicios en el país con la reducción de la flota por problemas técnicos. “La autoridad aeronáutica constató que la empresa Ultra Air continúa volando, con una reducción parcial en su capacidad por motivos técnicos”, mencionó Aerocivil.

La Aerocivil le pidió a Ultra Air debe seguir tres medidas: De acuerdo con nuestras competencias, se han requerido a las directivas de Ultra Air para que informen y actualicen las condiciones actuales de sus operaciones. La Secretaría de Autoridad Aeronáutica mantiene su plan especial de vigilancia de la seguridad operacional sobre la empresa. El Grupo de Intermediación en Aeropuertos de la Aerocivil continuará brindando orientación y acompañamiento a los pasajeros que pudieran resultar afectados.
