El Aeropuerto de la Isla Reunión celebra 2.4 millones de pasajeros

El Aeropuerto Internacional Saint Denis-Roland Garros está celebrando los 2.4 millones de pasajeros este viernes por la mañana estableciendo un nuevo récord en 2018. La Société Aéroportuaire celebra el 28 Diciembre 2018 mediante la identificación de los 2.400.000 pasajeros que recibió desde principios de año 2018.

A fines de 2018, el Aeropuerto de Roland Garros alcanza un nivel de tráfico sin igual. El 22 Diciembre 2017 alcanzó un tráfico de 2,2 millones de pasajeros y finalmente se contabilizaron 2,29 millones de pasajeros en 2017 lo que representa un aumento del 8,8%. Durante los doce meses de 2018, la plataforma debería albergar 2,47 millones de pasajeros, un aumento de casi el 8%. La aerolínea privada siria Cham Wings Airlines ha realizado su primer vuelo a Túnez el Jueves, 27 Diciembre 2018 lo que marca el primer viaje entre ambos países en años. El vuelo entre el Aeropuerto Internacional de Damasco y el Aeropuerto Internacional Monastir Habib Bourguiba en Túnez arribó el jueves por la tarde con 150 pasajeros sirios a bordo.

Osama Satea, el Gerente de Desarrollo en Cham Wings, dijo que el vuelo es el preludio de los vuelos regulares entre Siria y Túnez, y agregó que el nuevo destino es parte de un plan para expandir la red de destinos que la compañía está programando.
