Lo confirmó su director, David Giavedoni, quien realiza gestiones ante entes nacionales para que el inicio de los trabajos no se demoren. Se estima que podrían comenzar a fines de abril y que los vuelos serían derivados a Paraná
«Hay momentos y tiempos que no dependen de nosotros», dijo a UNO David Giavedoni, director del Aeropuerto de Sauce Viejo. Desde la estación aérea aun desconocen con precisión la fecha de inicio de las obras, algunas de ellas indispensables para garantizar su funcionamiento.
Es que para comenzar, no solo se debe tener la firma del gobernador Miguel Lifschitz, adjudicando la obra a una empresa, sino que además se necesita la autorización de los organismos de control del sistema, como son el Orsna (Organismo Regulador del Sistema Nacional de Aeropuertos) y el Anac (Administración Nacional de Aviación Civil).
Las inversiones apuntan a la optimización de la pista principal, del sistema de balizamiento y de la plataforma comercial del edificio del aeródromo. Los sobres se abrieron el 12 de enero pasado y el proceso avanza en la provincia de Santa Fe. Se espera que durante la próxima semana, el gobernador de Santa Fe firme el decreto que adjudica los trabajos.
Los tiempos de la provincia no serían el problema
Anticipándose a un posible escenario de demoras, el director del Aeropuerto viajó este martes a Buenos Aires para reunirse con los titulares del Anac y Orsna. El objetivo: coordinar los tiempos para la aprobación de los pliegos y así dar inicio a los trabajos.
Desde el comienzo de las tareas la estación aérea estará cerrada. Fue a pedido también de la empresa que ganó la licitación, quien estimó una demora de aproximadamente tres meses, incluyendo los contratiempos por las inclemencias del tiempo, para poner en condiciones la pista.
Respecto a qué sucederá con los vuelos durante el período en que la estación esté cerrada, Giavedoni dijo: «Ya no depende de nosotros, sino de Aerolíneas [*]. Creemos que los estarían derivando a Paraná durante estos meses. Si van los dos o no, eso depende de aerolíneas. Paraná tiene un vuelo a la tarde».
Respecto a los tiempos para dar inicio a las obras, explicó: «La semana que viene, ya mediados de febrero, podríamos tener el decreto del gobernador y los contratos comenzarían a ser firmados. Desde ese momento, la empresa tiene 40 días para presentar el proyecto ejecutivo. Una vez presentado este proyecto, hay que llevarlo al Orsna y Anac para la aprobación. Ahí es donde desconozco cuánto tiempo puede llevar. Mañana (por hoy) tengo una reunión en Buenos Aires con el Anac y con el Orsna para consensuar algunos tiempos».
Igualmente, Giavedoni sostiene que las demoras podrían extenderse unos 20 días. «De cualquier manera, no creo que demoren más de 15 o 20 días para aprobarlo. Son licitaciones públicas, hay ofertas y hay inflación, los materiales se encarecen. Calculamos que a fines de abril o principio de mayo estaría ya todo encaminado para empezar a trabajar», estimó.
Demanda de viajes
El titular del Aeropuerto comentó al matutino que el promedio de pasajes ha disminuido. «Ha bajado. Estamos en un 60% de ocupación, veníamos en un 84, 85% y bajamos a 60. Se debe tener en cuenta los horarios», indicó.
Desde la estación aérea admiten que los horarios no favorecen mucho. Entre los motivos, se destaca que el primer vuelo llega a Buenos Aires cerca del mediodía y que ir y volver en el día no se puede, aunque está la opción de tomar un vuelo de regreso a Paraná, que arriba a las 19.20. Una alternativa utilizada por santafesinos.
Además, consideran necesario que Sauce Viejo tenga conexión con otro aeropuerto internacional y con alguna provincia del norte del país.
En este contexto, desde la provincia de Santa Fe aguardan con atención las definiciones que tome la Anac respecto a la concesión de nuevas rutas aéreas. Cabe recordar que Avian Líneas Aéreas, FB Líneas Aéreas y Alas del Sur son las líneas que solicitaron permiso para volar a Santa Fe. Incluso, una de ellas solicitó dos vuelos diarios a Buenos Aires, uno por la mañana y otro por la noche.
