Luxair aumentará su flota aviones Boeing 737 MAX

Luxair y The Boeing Company anunciaron el Viernes 3 de Marzo de 2023 que la aerolínea luxemburguesa ha elegido el Boeing 737-8 MAX de bajo consumo de combustible para ampliar su flota de pasillo único con un acuerdo para adquirir cuatro (4) aviones. Luxair inicialmente arrendará dos Boeing 737-8 MAX que se entregarán para el verano, asegurando que la aerolínea brinde a sus clientes una mayor capacidad y conectividad a más destinos para la ajetreada temporada de viajes de verano europeo. Además, ha realizado un pedido directo de dos Boeing 737-8 MAX.

El Boeing 737-8 MAX, con capacidad para 162 a 210 pasajeros dependiendo de la configuración y con un alcance de 3.500 millas náuticas, es el avión de pasillo único más versátil del mercado, capaz de operar de manera rentable en rutas de corta y media distancia. El MAX 8 proporcionará flexibilidad en toda la red de Luxair al tiempo que reducirá el uso de combustible y las emisiones hasta en un 20% y, en promedio, cada avión ahorrará hasta ocho millones de libras de emisiones de CO2 anualmente en comparación con los aviones que reemplaza.
