Air India bienvenida primer Airbus A321neo
Air India ha anunciado la incorporación de su primer Airbus A321NEO última generación el 26/03 que se une a su flota de la aerolínea india. La aeronave había partido desde las instalaciones de Airbus Group en Hamburgo, Alemania. La compañía ha seleccionado los motores CFM LEAP-1A para impulsar al A321neo.
Christian Scherer, Director Comercial y Internacional de Airbus Group, ha expresado: “Este es un momento histórico para Airbus y para Air India. India está al borde de una revolución internacional de viajes aéreos y nos sentimos honrados de que nuestra asociación con los Tata y nuestras soluciones de aviones escriban ese nuevo capítulo para la conectividad aérea del país”.
Air India anunció pedidos masivos con Boeing y Airbus en Marzo 2023 de 470 aviones, incluyendo 250 aeronaves Airbus que incluyeron A320neo (140) y A320neo (70). La aerolínea también firmó un contrato de arrendamiento para seis A320neo en 2022 con CDB Aviation, que se entregará en la segunda mitad de 2023.
El A321neo es parte de sus planes de expansión de la aerolínea para inducir más de 35 aviones bajo régimen de arrendamiento. El Tata Group, matriz de la aerolínea ha activado un plan de crecimiento sostenido para restablecer a Air India como aerolínea principal de la India.

Air India welcome first Airbus A321neo
Air India has announced the incorporation of its first Airbus A321neo last generation on 03/26 that joins its fleet of the Indian airline. The aircraft had left from the Airbus Group facilities in Hamburg, Germany. The company has selected the CFM LEAP-1A engines to boost the A321neo.
Christian Scherer, Commercial and International Director of Airbus Group, said: “This is a historical moment for Airbus and for Air India. India is on the edge of an international air travel revolution and we are honored that our association with the Tata and our Airplanes solutions write that new chapter for the country’s air connectivity”.
Air India announced mass orders with Boeing and Airbus on March 2023 of 470 aircraft, including 250 Airbus aircraft that included A320neo (140) and A320neo (70). The airline also signed a lease for six A320neo in 2022 with CDB Aviation, which will be delivered in the second half of 2023.
The A321neo is part of its airline’s expansion plans to induce more than 35 aircraft under lease. The Tata Group, an airline matrix has activated a sustained growth plan to restore Air India as the main airline of India.
