Récord pasajeros transportados en Julio 2019 en Argentina

Por primera vez en la historia volaron 1.512.000 pasajeros en un mes (Julio 2019), impulsados por la «Revolución de los Aviones»; esto es un 61% más que en Julio 2015. El número equivale a más de 525 aviones llenos por día. De esas personas, el 20% eligió aerolíneas de bajo costo para volar. En el interior del país viajaron, sin pasar por Buenos Aires, 170 mil pasajeros. En tanto, 1,2 millones tomaron vuelos internacionales como los nuevos que conectan Córdoba con Miami o Bariloche con Campinas, Brasil.

En Julio 2019 se superaron marcas históricas en aeropuertos de todo el país: Aeroparque, Córdoba, Bariloche, Iguazú, El Palomar, Salta, Neuquén, Tucumán y Posadas. El día 22, cuando empezaron las vacaciones de invierno, se batió el récord histórico en un día con 58.000 pasajeros.

En el hall de partidas del nuevo edificio ya están casi terminadas las 2 primeras islas de check-in y se empezó a trabajar en la conexión con la Terminal A. En la planta baja estará el área pública y los mostradores de check-in y en la planta alta se ubicará la zona de preembarque.

Continúan las obras en la terminal de pasajeros de Bariloche, que en Julio 2019 recibió a 240 mil pasajeros, 19% más que la marca de julio de 2018 y registró un récord de 49 vuelos el día 21. Los trabajos incluyen una sala de embarque completamente modernizada, 5 puestos de check-in que se suman a los 19 que hay hoy, nuevas cintas en el hall de equipajes y nuevos espacios para las rentadoras de autos, entre otros. Además, se inauguró una nueva manga (ahora son 3) y se ampliará el estacionamiento descubierto y la plataforma para que operen más aviones en simultáneo. Bariloche recibió en julio más del doble de pasajeros que en 2015, con un 150% más de pasajeros que vienen del interior y dos nuevas conexiones con Viracopos y San Pablo, Brasil.

Mientras avanzan las obras en el aeropuerto se habilitó una nueva terminal remota para hacer frente al incremento de pasajeros impulsado por el ingreso de nuevas líneas aéreas y vuelos internacionales en el marco de la Revolución de los Aviones. Esta terminal le dará más comodidad a los pasajeros y agilizará las operaciones. Tiene una sala de espera, puestos de check-in, una sala de preembarque y otra de equipaje además de un sector de gastronomía y baños. El aeropuerto de Iguazú se está renovando por completo con nueva pista, terminal, estacionamiento y torre de control.

Otros aeropuertos y aeródromos

Desde Julio 2019 el Aeroclub General Villegas puede recibir vuelos sanitarios y de emergencia en horario nocturno gracias a las 97 balizas instaladas a lo largo de 1.600 metros entre la pista y la calle de rodaje. Éste es el primer balizamiento que se instala de una lista de 10 aeródromos dentro de un convenio de colaboración entre ANAC y la Fábrica Argentina de Aviones (FAdeA) como fabricante y asistente técnico. Su instalación promueve la carrera del piloto comercial, que requiere vuelo nocturno, además de generar empleo y fomentar la producción nacional.

Para los aeropuertos de Resistencia y Corrientes se implementaron nuevos procedimientos instrumentales de aproximación y salida diseñados para ser utilizados con tecnología satelital (PBN) o con radioayudas terrestres. Estos procedimientos mejoran las trayectorias de entrada y salida, reduciendo los tiempos de vuelo y el consumo de combustible, generando mayor previsibilidad en la navegación y menos emisiones de CO2 al ambiente, y también reducen las demoras y cancelaciones por meteorología adversa.

El Aeropuerto Mar del Plata tiene una terminal renovada con un mejor servicio para el número creciente de pasajeros que la visitan, con cada vez más rutas nacionales e internacionales: en la primera mitad de 2019 llegó casi el triple de personas que en el mismo período de 2015. En la terminal se reorganizaron los espacios de embarque y retiro de equipaje y las áreas de control para recibir más de un vuelo a la vez, aumentando la capacidad, mejorando la circulación y reduciendo tiempos de espera.
