A partir del 01/05 inaugura ruta Kuwait—Manchester

Kuwait Airways lanzará una nueva ruta entre el Aeropuerto Kuwait/KWI y el Aeropuerto Manchester/MAN, Reino Unido. A partir del Domingo 1 de Mayo de 2022 se lanzan los servicios desde Manchester hacia Kuwait. El servicio al destino europeo proveniente de Oriente Medio operará tres veces por semana (3Frq/S) los Domingos, Martes y Jueves desde Manchester. Kuwait Airways también ofrece conexiones a ciudades como Bangkok, Mumbai, Delhi y Manila. La aerolínea ya vuela entre Londres/Heathrow y Kuwait.

Ian Costigan, Director Gerente interino del Aeropuerto de Manchester/MAN, dijo: “El anuncio de otra ruta de larga distancia que llegará a Manchester muestra claramente el papel que desempeñamos en la conexión del norte con destinos globales clave. Rutas como estas no solo facilitan los viajes, sino que ponen a la región en el mapa internacional de oportunidades comerciales, económicas y turísticas, además de crear una gran cantidad de empleos en el proceso”.

La ruta Kuwait—Manchester—Kuwait será servida por aviones Airbus A320NEO que ofrecen cabinas de clase económica y ejecutiva, incluidas camas planas en los negocios. Maen Razouqi, CEO de Kuwait Airways, agregó que la aerolínea estaba “expandiendo su red de operaciones en todo el mundo, con el lanzamiento de nuevos y diversos destinos que se adaptan a las preferencias de sus clientes y satisfacen sus aspiraciones”.

Kuwait Airways will launch a new route between Kuwait/KWI Airport and Manchester/MAN Airport, UK. From Sunday May 1, 2022 services from Manchester to Kuwait are launched. Service to the European destination from the Middle East will operate three times a week (3Frq/S) on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday from Manchester. The Kuwait—Manchester—Kuwait route will be served by Airbus A320NEO aircraft offering economy and business class cabins, including flat beds in business. La aerolínea rusa Aeroflot Russian Airlines ha sido suspendida de la alianza de aerolíneas globales SkyTeam debido a los bloqueos presentados por Occidente y los problemas geo-políticos que representa el conflicto bélico ruso-ucraniano. La compañía aérea se había integrado a la alianza en 2006 y era la séptima del grupo fundado por Delta Air Lines, Air France-KLM Group, Korean Air y Aeroméxico.

La alianza de líneas aéreas SkyTeam, liderada en Europa por Air France-KLM, anunció la suspensión temporal de Aeroflot Russian Airlines como integrante del grupo. Una semana atrás, la aerolínea rusa S7 Airlines, la segunda aerolínea rusa, había recibido igual trato por parte de la alianza Oneworld.

En el caso de SkyTeam, la suspensión afectará a los clientes para hacer uso de los puntajes volando con Aeroflot o algunas de las aerolíneas miembro del grupo. La suspensión de integración en cierta medida significa que podría contemplarse un retorno, en la medida que el escenario geo-político lo permitiese. Para la Alianza SkyTeam, la medida supone perder una compañía importante el la red de servicios globales y los aportes al grupo.

La Auditoría General de la Nación (AGN) de la República Argentina ha aprobado el informe del balance correspondiente para 2021 de Aerolíneas Argentinas con un patrimonio neto negativo que arrastra desde 2008 de US$ 8000 millones Dólares. La aerolínea necesitaba alrededor de AR$ 200 millones diarios para funcionar en 2021.

La sociedad ha recibido asistencia financiera del Estado Nacional por AR$ 72.797,7 millones a valores homogéneos al 31/12/2021 dice uno de los párrafos que se agregó como nota a los balances. Tuvo una pérdida neta de AR$ 44.552,9 millones. Una fuente oficial, que conoce de esas cifras millonarias, lo explicó: “Ese es el número de transferencias que también figura en los estados contables. Lo que sucede es que en la contabilidad que queda del lado del que hace el aporte, se ajusta por inflación por eso se llega a casi AR$ 73.000 millones; en el Aerolíneas figura AR$ 65.000”.

Hubo un párrafo que fue pedido por uno de los auditores generales, Miguel Pichetto. El texto expresa: ”Al 31 de Diciembre de 2021, el patrimonio neto es negativo en AR$ 39.034,4 millones, los resultados no asignados acumulan pérdidas por AR$ 247.950,7 millones y el capital de trabajo presenta un déficit de AR$ 48.647,9 millones. Teniendo en cuenta lo señalado, y la evolución en los últimos años de los conceptos mencionados, la capacidad de la sociedad de financiar sus operaciones y cancelar sus pasivos, se halla supeditada al mantenimiento de los recursos aportados por el Estado Nacional”. Persiguiendo las formas de respeto, Miguel Pichetto ha expresado: “Tengo una visión sobre Aerolíneas. Me parece fundamental que siga siendo estatal lo que se debería es ir tratando de bajar el apoyo del Tesoro Nacional para lograr niveles de autosuficiencia”.

El transporte de carga fue 17.728 toneladas y aumentó en 2021 un 48,7% respecto a 2020 (11.923 toneladas), pero es 44,5% más baja que en 2019 que transportó 31.950 toneladas, expresa la AGN.
