Air Nostrum adquiere fondos para asistencia económica
El consejo de administración de SEPI, el organismo estatal español de participación industrial ha dado luz verde a la asignación de ayudas económicas a la compañía aérea Air Nostrum. Se espera la luz verde del Consejo de Ministros que debería llegar el próximo Martes 24/05. Según la propuesta presentada por la empresa, la suma será devuelta en siete años. La aerolínea regional había solicitado el procedimiento en Abril 2021, ante la paralización de operaciones por la normativa anti-Covid. El importe de la operación, según ha informado preferente.com, es de € 111 millones de Euros, lo que convierte al préstamo en la segunda ayuda más grande de España después de Air Europa.
La línea aérea Air Nostrum en 2020, debido a la pandemia, registró pérdidas de € 129 millones de Euros; en 2019, sin embargo, la compañía había cerrado con superávit, tras las dificultades del periodo 2009-2013.

The board of directors of SEPI, the Spanish state agency for industrial participation, has given the green light to assign financial aid to the airline Air Nostrum.
