Airbus-Qatar acercan relación tras acuerdos nuevos pedidos

El fabricante europeo de aviones Airbus Group ha anunciado el 07/02 el restablecimiento de las relaciones con Qatar Airways después de una disputa legal al restablecer miles de millones de Dólares en pedidos de aviones.

El mayor fabricante de aviones del mundo dijo que había entregado 46 aviones a los clientes en Febrero 2023, más del doble de los 20 que habían marcado un comienzo decepcionante del año en Enero 2023. Las entregas durante los primeros dos meses alcanzaron los 66 aviones, 13 menos que el año anterior.

Airbus dijo en un boletín mensual que había restablecido los pedidos de 73 aviones de Qatar Airways después de revocarlos durante una disputa sobre daños a la superficie de los A350 en tierra.

Airbus y Qatar Airways resolvieron la disputa a fines de Enero 2023, evitando un juicio judicial raro y potencialmente perjudicial en el Reino Unido en el sector de los aviones. Hablando en Berlín, el Presidente Ejecutivo de Qatar Airways, Akbar Al Baker, calificó el acuerdo como un «ganar-ganar».

The European Airbus Group aircraft manufacturer has announced 07/02 the restoration of relations with Qatar Airways after a legal dispute by restoring billions of dollars in aircraft orders.

Airbus and Qatar Airways resolved the dispute at the end of January 2023, avoiding a rare and potentially detrimental judicial trial in the United Kingdom in the airplanes sector. Speaking in Berlin, the executive president of Qatar Airways, Akbar al Baker, described the agreement as a «win-win».
