La aerolínea está ofreciendo una tarifa promocional de $59 dólares el viaje de ida para su nueva ruta a Santa Clara, planeada para el próximo 15 de diciembre, previa autorización del gobierno cubano.

Southwest Airlines inauguró este domingo su ruta entre el sur de la Florida y Cuba con la salida del vuelo 3914 desde el aeropuerto de Fort Lauderdale rumbo a Varadero.

Un total de 143 pasajeros y una tripulación de 5 empleados viajaron a bordo de la nave, informó un comunicado de prensa de la aerolínea.

“Nuestros empleados han trabajado duro para abrir esta ruta, un nuevo capítulo para las personas que quieren conectarse con Cuba en la forma que más importa para ellos”, dijo el vicepresidente Operaciones Terrestres de Southwest Airlines, Steve Goldberg.

Golberg añadió que la aerolínea tiene en planes de ofrecer un vuelo diario entre Fort Lauderdale y Santa Clara a partir del 15 de diciembre próximo, un plan aún sujeto a la aprobación del gobierno cubano.

La aerolínea está ofreciendo una tarifa promocional de $59 dólares el viaje de ida para su nueva ruta a Santa Clara. Los boletos a ese precio estarán disponibles entre hoy y el 20 de noviembre para viajes a realizarse entre el 15 de diciembre y el 24 de abril de 2017.

El pasado 13 de octubre, Southwest Airlines anunció sus nuevas rutas hacia la isla, que incluyen vuelos diarios a La Habana desde Fort Lauderdale y Tampa a partir del 12 de diciembre.

The airline is offering a one-way promotional fare of $ 59 for their new route to Santa Clara. Tickets at that price will be available between today and November 20 for travel between December 15 and April 24, 2017.

On October 13, Southwest Airlines announced its new routes to the island, which include daily flights to Havana from Fort Lauderdale and Tampa beginning December 12. A\W
