El fabricante europeo ATR confirmó la operación; volará en la Argentina como Avian Líneas Aéreas

Uno de los varios interesados en ingresar al mercado aercomercial argentino está algo más cerca de empezar a operar. El holding colombiano Avianca ya presentó una orden de fabricación para comprar 12 aviones destinados a la subsidiaria en la Argentina.

La confirmación estuvo a cargo del fabricante, la empresa ATR, que en una nota de prensa que circuló hace pocas horas, informó que Synergy Aerospace, la controlante de Avianca, emitió una orden de compra por 12 aviones ATR 72-600s, un modelo turbo hélice que según el fabricante se configurará con 68 asientos.

Los movimientos de Avianca en la Argentina empezaron a principios de año. En marzo se confirmó que la empresa manejada por el empresario Germán Efromovich compró la compañía aérea de la familia Macri, MacAir . El director de la sociedad es Elias Jassan, ex ministro de Justicia del gobierno de Carlos Menem.

Avian Líneas Aéreas será el vehículo de inversión en el país. «Son los aviones más eficientes y ecoeficientes de su categoría. Según Diego Fargosi, abogado especialista en derecho aerocomercial, del estudio Fargosi, Klein y Sasiain, la llegada de Avianca se encuadra en un fomento a la actividad que se impulsa desde la Casa Rosada. «El Gobierno entiende que una mayor oferta genera más demanda, y de a poco se concretan los anuncios», dijo.

Respecto de los aviones, consideró que se trata de aeronaves que no hay en Argentina. «Son turbo hélices de 70 plazas. Con la caída de Sol, nuevamente la Argentina se quedó prácticamente sin aviación regional, un sector crucial de la actividad que sirve para conectar ciudades secundarias con hubs [centros operativos]. También sirve para aumentar frecuencias en ciertas rutas donde resulta muy caro poner más servicios con aeronaves más grandes».
