Esta semana se desarrollarán una serie de reuniones clave con los trabajadores de la quebrada aerolínea Alas Uruguay para definir futuro de las fuentes laborales.

El vicepresidente de la aerolínea uruguaya, Nicolás de los Santos, dijo que en los próximos días mantendrán un encuentro con representantes de la aerolínea brasileña Azul.

El mismo sería para presentar la bolsa de «más de cien» funcionarios de Alas Uruguay interesados en ser absorbidos por esta empresa, según informó Telenoche.

Los trabajadores de la compañía gestionada por los ex funcionarios de Pluna tienen sus esperanzas depositadas en que Azul los tenga en consideración para cuando instale su centro de operaciones regional en el aeropuerto de Carrasco.

Desde el gobierno se indicó que la empresa brasileña se comprometió a tomar 60 o 70 trabajadores de Alas Uruguay, consigna el noticiero.
