Air Carïbes recibe su primer A350-900, que volará al Caribe francés a partir hoy 2 de marzo

Air Caraïbes volará destinos como Pointe-à-Pitre y Fort-de-France, en el Caribe francés, a partir de hoy, 2 de marzo, con aeronaves A350-900, según ha informado la compañía en un comunicado.

Air Caraïbes se convierte en la primera aerolínea francesa en operar el A350-900. El avión fue entregado durante una ceremonia celebrada en el centro de entrega de Airbus en Toulouse el 28 de febrero. La línea aérea planea operar su A350-900, que cuenta con capacidad para 389 pasajeros, junto con el A330, que ya tiene en servicio, en sus rutas desde París al Caribe francés.

Air Caraïbes enlazará vuelo directo desde el Aeropuerto París Orly a Pointe-à-Pitre, en la Isla de Guadalupe, y Fort-de-France, en el departamento de ultramar de la Isla Martinica.

Hasta la fecha, Airbus ha vendido 821 aeronaves del modelo A350-900 a 44 clientes, lo que asciende a unos ingresos de 255.495,2 millones de dólares (241.135,5 millones de euros) a precios de catálogo de 2017.
