Cebu Pacific Airlines recibe su primer Airbus A321NEO

Cebu Pacific Airlines ha tomado posesión de su primer Airbus A321NEO impulsado por El motor Pratt & Whitney GTF. «Estamos muy emocionados de agregar el primer A321NEO con motor GTF a la flota de Cebu Pacific Airlines. Cebu Pacific Airlines, una aerolínea líder en Filipinas, tiene 31 A321NEO’s restantes en orden firme y ocho opciones. Para respaldar los planes de expansión, Cebu Pacific también ha alquilado cinco Airbus A320NEO con motores Pratt & Whitney GTF.

Cebu Pacific Airlines previamente voló un avión DC-9 con los motores JT8D de Pratt & Whitney. La compañía confía en que la tecnología de ventilador de engranajes limpia y eficiente en el consumo de combustible proporcionará a Cebu Pacific Airlines ventajas económicas y ambientales durante muchos años por venir. Cebu Pacific Airlines receives its first Airbus A321NEO

Cebu Pacific Airlines has taken ownership of its first Airbus A321NEO powered by The Pratt & Whitney GTF engine. «We are very excited to add the first A321NEO with GTF engine to the Cebu Pacific Airlines fleet, which will allow us to increase capacity on popular routes, while at the same time benefiting from the lowest operating costs in this size category», said Lance Gokongwei, President and CEO of Cebu Pacific Airlines. Pratt & Whitney will provide Cebu Pacific Airlines with an EngineWise service contract for 10 years to support engine performance services and maximize the availability of the aircraft.

Cebu Pacific Airlines, a leading airline in the Philippines, has 31 A321NEO’s remaining in firm order and eight options. To support the expansion plans, Cebu Pacific has also rented five Airbus A320NEOs with Pratt & Whitney GTF engines.

Cebu Pacific Airlines previously flew a DC-9 aircraft with Pratt & Whitney’s JT8D engines. The company is confident that clean and efficient fuel-fan technology will provide Cebu Pacific Airlines with economic and environmental benefits for many years to come. Since entering service in early 2016, the GTF engine has demonstrated its promised capacity to reduce fuel consumption by 16%, to reduce NOx emissions by 50% to the regulatory standard and to reduce the noise footprint in 75%.
