Southwest Airlines ha completado su primer vuelo de prueba a las Islas de Hawaii

Southwest Airlines ha completado su primer vuelo de prueba al Aeropuerto Internacional de Honolulu con solo tripulación a bordo como parte del esfuerzo de Southwest que está lista para comenzar a ofrecer servicios a la isla.

Southwest anunció en Abril 2018 que tiene la intención de comenzar a ofrecer servicios regulares desde California hasta Hawaii. Se ofrecerán vuelos sin escalas desde los aeropuertos de Oakland, San Diego, San José y Sacramento a los aeropuertos de Honolulu International, Lihue, Kona International (Keahole) y Kahului. Southwest Airlines has completed its first test flight to the Hawaiian Islands

Southwest Airlines has completed its first test flight to Honolulu International Airport with only crew on board as part of the Southwest effort that is ready to begin offering services to the island.

Southwest announced in April 2018 that it intends to begin offering regular services from California to Hawaii. Non-stop flights will be offered from the airports of Oakland, San Diego, San Jose and Sacramento to the airports of Honolulu International, Lihue, Kona International (Keahole) and Kahului. The airline has not yet announced the travel rates, but the test flight may have generated some competition from rival airlines.

A search from February 28 to March 4, 2019 on Google Flights showed rates as low as US$ 303 to destinations in San Diego-Hawaii. Multiple points of sale have also reported lower rates in other California cities after the successful Southwest test. A \ W
