Gobierno Noruega amplía plazos garantías de préstamo a aerolíneas
El Gobierno del Reino de Noruega extenderá la duración de las garantías de préstamo relacionadas con la pandemia ofrecidas a las aerolíneas ha comunicado este Martes 24/11, que no obstante no anunció fondos adicionales para ayudar a Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA a solventar su crítica situación.
El plan revisado dará a las aerolíneas hasta tres años para devolver los préstamos avalados por el Estado, lo cual supone un aumento de dos años, según dijeron desde el Ministerio de Industria y el Ministerio de Transporte en una declaración conjunta. “La crisis entre las aerolíneas es más duradera y grave de lo esperado y es necesario dar más ayudas a la industria”, dijeron ambos ministerios.
Norwegian Air, que la semana pasada buscó protección ante la amenaza de bancarrota mientras la aerolínea busca evitar el colapso, ha recibido una asignación máxima de NOK 3.000 millones de Coronas Noruegas (US$ 333,7 millones de Dólares/€ 281 millones de Euros) bajo el plan. El Gobierno rechazó el 9 de Noviembre de 2020 la petición de Norwegian Air de una inyección adicional de dinero. La aerolínea nórdica SAS Airlines, que aún no ha buscado garantías de préstamo bajo el plan de Noruega, puede solicitarlas en cualquier momento antes del 30 de Junio de 2021, ha comunicado el Gobierno. La fecha límite original estaba fijada a finales de 2020.

The Government of the Kingdom of Norway will extend the duration of the loan guarantees related to the pandemic offered to the airlines, announced this Tuesday 11/24, which however did not announce additional funds to help Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA solve its critical situation.
The revised plan will give airlines up to three years to repay state-guaranteed loans, which is an increase of two years, the Ministry of Industry and the Ministry of Transport said in a joint statement. “The crisis between the airlines is more lasting and serious than expected and it is necessary to give more aid to the industry”, said both ministries.
Norwegian Air, which last week sought protection from the threat of bankruptcy as the airline seeks to avoid collapse, has received a maximum allocation of NOK 3 billion Norwegian Crowns (US$ 333.7 million/€ 281 million Euros) under the plan. On November 9, 2020, the government rejected Norwegian Air’s request for an additional injection of money. The Nordic airline SAS Airlines, which has not yet sought loan guarantees under the Norwegian plan, can request them at any time before June 30, 2021, the Government has reported. The original deadline was set at the end of 2020.

Norwegian Air, som i forrige uke søkte beskyttelse mot trusselen om konkurs ettersom flyselskapet søker å unngå kollaps, har mottatt en maksimal bevilgning på 3 milliarder norske kroner (US$ 333,7 millioner Dollar /€ 281 millioner Euro) under planen. 9. november 2020 avviste regjeringen Norwegian Airs anmodning om ytterligere injeksjon av penger.
