Nueva filial peruana inicia proceso comercialización
La startup JetSmart Airlines Perú ha comunicado que ha iniciado el proceso de comercialización de la venta de pasajes aéreos. La empresa de capital estadounidense se alista para operar en Perú y una de sus promociones serán vuelos económicos hacia diez ciudades del país. Además, Jetsmart anunció que conectará ciudades del interior sin necesidad de pasar por la capital peruana Lima. La aerolínea low cost Jetsmart lanza una promoción de inauguración por el inicio de sus operaciones en Perú a partir de Junio del 2022. Los primeros usuarios podrán acceder a pasajes baratos desde 10 soles en su página web.
El Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones (MTC) de Perú anunció el ingreso de una nueva aerolínea al mercado peruano tras la culminación de los procesos administrativos correspondientes mediante la Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil (DGAC) y tras haber obtenido el certificado de explotador aéreo de vuelos domésticos. Se trata de Jetsmart Airlines Perú, la compañía aérea peruana fue autorizada por el MTC y la DGAC le otorgó en noviembre de 2021 el permiso de operación de aviación comercial, es decir, transporte aéreo regular nacional de pasajeros, carga y correo. “Esto generará mayor competencia en el mercado del transporte aéreo de pasajeros, en beneficio de los usuarios, en el incremento en el intercambio de divisas, y promoverá el turismo y el comercio regional”, señaló el titular del ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones, Nicolás Bustamante Coronado.
JetSmart Perú anunció que sus aviones Airbus A320-200CEO conectarán Lima con otras ciudades peruanas: Arequipa, Cusco, Piura, Trujillo, Tarapoto, Talara, Juliaca, Iquitos y Cajamarca. Además, tendrán en operación vuelos que conectan destinos sin pasar por Lima, como Arequipa-Cusco, Arequipa-Trujillo, Arequipa-Piura y Arequipa-Tarapoto.

De acuerdo con la empresa, los primeros 3.000 boletos costarán S/ 10, incluyendo tasas e impuestos. Luego de ello, se habilitarán 25.000 pasajes con un precio desde S/. 35,00. La venta de pasajes promocionales de Jetsmart se ha iniciado este Miércoles 20/04 y se extiende hasta el 22/04 siempre que exista el stock de 3.000 pasajes aéreos.
Víctor Mejía, Representante Comercial de Jetsmart Perú, señaló que la aerolínea permite escoger los servicios que desea el pasajero y solo se abona por lo que se usa. Existe la habilitación para la opción “Smart ticket”, mediante la cual se podrá cambiar, anular o traspasar pasajes.
Perú es el tercer país donde Jetsmart opera en Sudamérica, luego de Chile y Argentina. JetSmart Airlines Group continúa realizando operaciones en seis países de Latinoamérica y ha transportado a más de 10 millones de pasajeros. Además, Jetsmart detalló que los aviones que pondrán a sobrevolar en Perú consumen 20% menos combustible y reducen en casi 50% la huella acústica, con lo que son la flota más eficiente y amigable con el medio ambiente.

Víctor Mejía, Commercial Representative of Jetsmart Peru, pointed out that the airline allows the passenger to choose the services they want and only pays for what is used. There is the enabling for the “Smart ticket” option, through which you can change, cancel or transfer tickets.
Peru is the third country where Jetsmart operates in South America, after Chile and Argentina. JetSmart Airlines Group continues to carry out operations in six Latin American countries and has transported more than 10 million passengers. In addition, Jetsmart explained that the planes that will fly over Peru consume 20% less fuel and reduce the noise footprint by almost 50%, making them the most efficient and environmentally friendly fleet.
