Avelo Airlines celebra su aniversario con un concurso
Avelo Airlines celebra su primer aniversario regalando vuelos gratuitos durante un año. La compañía que sale volando de Redding y Eureka anunció el concurso en su página de Instagram. La compañía sirve a varias ciudades del oeste, incluidas Bend, Boise, Denver, Eugene, Medford, Salt Lake City, Redding, entre otras, y su nuevo hub de distribución en Tweed/New Haven (CT) en la costa Este de Estados Unidos.
Hace un año, Avelo Airlines tomó vuelo el 28 de Abril de 2021 por primera vez desde su base de la costa oeste en el Aeropuerto Hollywood Burbank/BUR de Los Ángeles para el Aeropuerto del Condado de Sonoma/STS del Área Norte de la Bahía. Hoy, Avelo celebra el primer aniversario de ese vuelo inaugural que marcó el comienzo de una nueva era de elección, conveniencia y tarifas bajas como la primera aerolínea nueva de Estados Unidos en casi quince años.

Desde ese primer vuelo, Avelo ha volado más de 5.300 vuelos y 630.000 clientes. En el transcurso de volar más de 4 millones de millas el año pasado, Avelo ha logrado una tasa de llegada a tiempo en todo el sistema del 82% y una tasa de cancelación de muy por debajo del 1%. Desde que tomó vuelo hace 12 meses, Avelo ha ampliado su flota de tres 737 a ocho 737 en la actualidad tres 737-800 (3) y cinco 737-700 (5). El avión adicional permitió a Avelo expandirse a la costa este en noviembre pasado con la apertura de la segunda base de la aerolínea en el aeropuerto más conveniente del sur de Connecticut: el Aeropuerto Tweed-New Haven (HVN). Avelo también anunció planes para abrir su tercera base en Junio 2022 en el Aeropuerto Internacional de Orlando (MCO). Durante el año pasado, la red nacional de Avelo ha crecido de 12 a 27 destinos.

Avelo Airlines celebrates its first anniversary by giving away free flights for a year. The company that flies out of Redding and Eureka announced the contest on its Instagram page. The company serves several cities in the West, including Bend, Boise, Denver, Eugene, Medford, Salt Lake City, Redding, among others, and its new distribution hub in Tweed/New Haven (CT) on the East Coast of the United States.
One year ago, Avelo Airlines took flight on April 28, 2021 for the first time from its West Coast base at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Burbank/BUR Airport for Sonoma County Airport/STS North Bay Area. Today, Avelo celebrates the first anniversary of that inaugural flight that ushered in a new era of choice, convenience and low fares as America’s first new airline in nearly fifteen years.

Since that first flight, Avelo has flown more than 5,300 flights and 630,000 customers. Over the course of flying more than 4 million miles last year, Avelo has achieved a system-wide on-time arrival rate of 82% and a cancellation rate of well below 1%. Since taking flight 12 months ago, Avelo has grown its fleet from three 737s to eight 737s today (three 737-800s and five 737-700s). The additional aircraft allowed Avelo to expand to the East Coast last November with the opening of the airline’s second base at southern Connecticut’s most convenient airport: Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN). Avelo also announced plans to open its third base in June 2022 at Orlando International Airport (MCO). Over the past year, Avelo’s nationwide network has grown from 12 to 27 destinations.
