Dificultades alianza entre aerolíneas españolas
Las aerolíneas españolas Air Europa e Iberojet habían establecido una alianza intentando formalizarla en dos fechas el 2 y el 17 de Mayo de 2022, pero no se han cumplido y se desconoce cuándo será la puesta en marcha. La aerolínea de la firma Ávoris se encuentra establecida en la T1 de Barajas, a donde se ha trasladado para coincidir con Air Europa.
La alianza estratégica suscrita por Iberojet y Air Europa no termina de despegar. Después del cambio de Terminal Aérea de la T4 a la T1 de Madrid/Barajas de la aerolínea de Iberojet, ambas compañías se apresuraron a anunciar que habían firmado un acuerdo interline, lo que justificaba el cambio. En un comunicado emitido el 20 de Abril de 2022, Iberojet y Air Europa divulgaban que la puesta en funcionamiento de la alianza sería el 02/05. Sin embargo, este plazo no se ha cumplido por motivos ajenos a Iberojet, explica Ávoris. El motivo del retraso fue la imposibilidad de realizar el cambio de terminal en la fecha prevista.
Tras este primer contratiempo, la aerolínea comunicó que su acuerdo interline se estrenaría el 1/05, coincidiendo con el cambio de terminal. No obstante, ha pasado más de una semana desde entonces y, aunque Iberojet ha empezado a operar en la T4, sigue sin poner a la venta los billetes de Air Europa. Ávoris han declinado realizar comunicados, pero fuentes de la compañía explican que el retraso en la puesta a punto se debe a problemas informáticos que de momento impiden comercializar los billetes de Air Europa en la web de Iberojet. La compañía espera poder empezar a lo largo del mes de Junio 2022 como fecha estimativa.
Una vez que se active la alianza, Iberojet y Air Europa ofrecerán sus vuelos en conjunto, con todo el trayecto emitido en un solo billete. La maleta será facturada en origen hasta el destino final: Punta Cana, Cancún, La Habana, Varadero, San José (Costa Rica) y Los Cabos (México), desde y hasta trece destinos en España y otros once europeos operados por Air Europa.

The Spanish airlines Air Europa and Iberojet had established an alliance trying to formalize it on two dates on May 2 and 17, 2022, but they have not been fulfilled and it is unknown when the start-up will be. The Ávoris signature airline is established at Barajas T1, where it has moved to coincide with Air Europa.
The strategic alliance signed by Iberojet and Air Europa has not yet taken off. After the change of Air Terminal from T4 to T1 in Madrid/Barajas by the Iberojet airline, both companies were quick to announce that they had signed an interline agreement, which justified the change. In a statement issued on April 20, 2022, Iberojet and Air Europa disclosed that the start-up of the alliance would be on 05/02. However, this deadline has not been met for reasons beyond Iberojet, explains Ávoris. The reason for the delay was the impossibility of changing the terminal on the scheduled date.
After this first setback, the airline announced that its interline agreement would be launched on 05/01, coinciding with the change of terminal. However, more than a week has passed since then and, although Iberojet has started operating in T4, it still does not put Air Europa tickets on sale. Ávoris have declined to make any announcements, but company sources explain that the delay in the set-up is due to computer problems that currently prevent Air Europa tickets from being marketed on the Iberojet website. The company hopes to be able to start throughout the month of June 2022 as an estimated date.
Once the alliance is activated, Iberojet and Air Europa will offer their flights together, with the entire route issued in a single ticket. The suitcase will be checked in from origin to final destination: Punta Cana, Cancún, Havana, Varadero, San José (Costa Rica) and Los Cabos (Mexico), from and to thirteen destinations in Spain and another eleven European destinations operated by Air Europa.
