 El mercado aercomercial argentino se está “descongelando” con el impulso oficial a la llegada de nuevos competidores. Andes Líneas Aéreas, una de las aerolíneas existentes aunque con una operación muy chica, quiere aprovechar y empezar a sumar rutas y ganar mercado con una política de tarifas agresivas.

Desde hoy, la aerolínea que utiliza los aviones MD-83 comienza a volvar a Córdoba ofreciendo tarifas de $1600 ida y vuelta, cuando los precios promedio de la competencia son de $3000.

Andes empezará a operar la ruta a Córdoba y buscará sumar varias rutas más, entre las cuales se encuentra Puerto Iguazú. Será en una trascendente audiencia pública que se desarrollará el próximo 27 de diciembre donde otras cuatro aerolíneas por crearse buscarán adjudicarse rutas. Todas preven llegar a Iguazú y algunas a Posadas.

Hasta el momento, la Andes sólo volaba todos los días desde Buenos Aires a Jujuy, Salta y Puerto Madryn, vuelos que se conectarán con los nuevos: sumó hoy Córdoba, también con un vuelo diario; el 2 de enero llegará a Mar del Plata y el 1º de marzo, a Comodoro Rivadavia.

Horacio Preneste, director de Relaciones Institucionales de Andes, explicó que la idea es “ser la empresa con tarifas más accesibles del mercado, si bien todas –las que están y las nuevas que empiecen– ofrecerán precios más económicos, para duplicar el mercado de cabotaje. El plan es que la tarifa sea más barata que el pasaje terrestre, en micro, más caro”.

A Córdoba cuesta $ 1567 ida y vuelta, frente a los $ 3000 o más actuales; a Mar del Plata, $ 1300 y Salta, que promedia los $ 4000, pasaría a $ 2000 después de las Fiestas. “Queremos que los vuelos sean accesibles a todos los pasajeros, es la única forma de duplicar el mercado”, destacó. Y precisó que en la Argentina viajan 10 millones por avión y 40 millones por tierra. “Si hay tarifas más baratas, hay pasajeros. Hay oportunidades de crecer ahí”, explicó.

El ejecutivo también explicó que el plan de la empresa preve incorporar aviones nuevos, como dos Boeing 737-800 para 180 pasajeros.
