Irán concluye el acuerdo para adquirir 100 aviones Airbus

Teherán, Iran. El contrato para que la compañía Iran Air adquiera 100 aviones Airbus ha sido finalizado, anunció hoy el presidente de la aerolínea iraní Farhad Parvaresh.

En declaraciones a los periodistas al margen de una feria internacional en Teherán, Parvaresh indicó que siete u ocho de los aviones serán entregados por el fabricante aeronáutico en 2017.

Esta última semana representantes de Airbus visitaron Irán para concretar la adquisición, cuyo protocolo de acuerdo se firmó en enero pasado.

En un principio se acordó la adquisición por parte de Irán de 118 aviones por un valor de 25.000 millones de dólares, pero finalmente se ha cancelado la compra de los aparatos A380, por lo que el importe ronda los 10.000 millones de dólares, de acuerdo a la agencia oficial IRNA.

Parvaresh también apuntó que Irán recibirá además un primer avión Boeing en abril de 2018, según el acuerdo suscrito hace una semana con el fabricante estadounidense para la compra de 80 aparatos.

Al respecto, el viceministro para Carreteras y Desarrollo Urbano, Asghar Fakhrieh, reveló que la Oficina de Control de Activos Extranjeros del Tesoro (OFAC) estadounidense ha autorizado al fabricante Boeing a entregar 15 aviones a Irán.

Fakhrieh adelantó que las autoridades estadounidenses ampliarán posteriormente esa licencia para que sean entregados otros 65 aparatos, según las declaraciones recogidas por IRNA.

El pasado junio, Irán anunció que había alcanzado un acuerdo con la empresa estadounidense Boeing para la compra de 100 aviones para renovar su flota de pasajeros y que estaba a la espera de la autorización de Washington para poder firmar el contrato definitivo.

El acuerdo nuclear del pasado año entre Teherán y las potencias del Grupo 5+1 (China, EEUU, Francia, Reino Unido y Rusia más Alemania) puso fin a un embargo económico que desde 1995 impedía a los industriales occidentales vender aparatos o piezas a Irán.

La flota aérea de Irán está obsoleta y, según cálculos del Gobierno iraní y de las autoridades aéreas, se necesitan 500 aviones para renovarla y cumplir con las necesidades de transporte del país.

Tehran, Iran. The contract for Iran Air to acquire 100 Airbus aircraft has been finalized, the president of Iranian airline Farhad Parvaresh announced today.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of an international fair in Tehran, Parvaresh said seven or eight of the planes will be delivered by the aeronautical manufacturer in 2017.

Tras la reunión con una delegación de Azul Líneas Aéreas, el ministro de Transporte, Víctor Rossi, confirmó el interés de la compañía en cubrir nuevas rutas que unan Montevideo con otras ciudades de América del Sur. El próximo martes autoridades gubernamentales volverán a reunirse con representantes de Azul con la voluntad de “agilizar los procesos” e incorporar en la operativa a trabajadores de Alas Uruguay.

El ministro Rossi junto a la ministra de Turismo, Liliam Kechichian, y al titular de Trabajo y Seguridad Social, Ernesto Murro, recibieron a una delegación de ejecutivos de la brasileña Azul Líneas Aéreas.

En el encuentro, los representantes de la tercera aerolínea más importante del vecino país reiteraron su interés en operar en el Aeropuerto de Carrasco y comenzar a cubrir nuevos destinos “que hasta hoy Uruguay no posee”, relató Rossi a los medios de comunicación.

“Es necesario transitar una serie de instancias, algunas que tienen que ver con la obtención de las certificaciones necesarias (ante la Dirección Nacional de Aviación Civil e Infraestructura Aeronáutica – Dinacia) para poder cumplir con esos servicios”, señaló el jerarca. “El próximo martes volveremos a reunirnos para continuar el trabajo con representantes más técnicos de la aerolínea para poner en práctica un proceso que intentaremos lleve el menor tiempo posible para que Uruguay pueda beneficiarse de esos servicios a distintos puntos de América”, expresó.

“Todo lo que nos ayude a fortalecer al Uruguay y generar espacios de trabajo para los uruguayos va a ser bienvenido. Pero lo primero que ha planteado la empresa Azul es cómo poner en funcionamiento una estrategia de vuelos en la región desde Montevideo y a nosotros nos interesó mucho”, afirmó el secretario de Estado. “Nuestro interés también radica en cómo se le brinda una oportunidad a los trabajadores uruguayos de Alas Uruguay con experiencia aeronáutica y que hoy están necesitando respuesta de trabajo”, apuntó Rossi.

Kechichian calificó la reunión como “muy provechosa” y, en la misma línea de razonamiento de Rossi, reiteró la voluntad del Gobierno de absorber un número no especificado de personal de a bordo y técnicos en tierra de Alas Uruguay que será seleccionado y capacitado por Azul, confió a la Secretaría de Comunicación Institucional. El pasado 1o. de julio Azul comenzó a unir las ciudades de Montevideo y Porto Alegre y entre diciembre y marzo volverá a operar en el Aeropuerto Laguna del Sauce de Punta del Este, al igual que en la temporada anterior,cubriendo frecuencias a Porto Alegre y San Pablo. 

Azul to incorporate workers from Alas Uruguay
