El  tiempo causa retrasos de vuelo en el Aeropuerto de Atlanta

Atlanta, Georgia · Los vuelos se han reanudado en el Aeropuerto de Atlanta, pero el clima tempestuoso sigue causando retrasos tanto para los vuelos de salida como para los que llegan.

El Aeropuerto Internacional Hartsfield-Jackson de Atlanta emitió un tweet de su cuenta oficial de que la Administración Federal de Aviación ha levantado una parada en tierra, lo que significa que los vuelos que se dirigían a Atlanta desde otros aeropuertos se mantuvieron temporalmente.

Las olas de fuerte lluvia – acompañadas de niebla, truenos y relámpagos – llegaron a Atlanta durante todo el día del miércoles. Delta Air Lines, con sede en Atlanta, canceló unos 300 vuelos en el sureste debido al clima. 

Weather causes flight delays at Atlanta Airport

Atlanta, Georgia · Flights have resumed at Atlanta’s Airport, but stormy weather continues to cause delays for both departing and arriving flights.

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport tweeted from its official account that the Federal Aviation Administration has lifted a ground stop, which means that flights heading to Atlanta from other airports were temporarily held.

Waves of heavy rain – accompanied by fog, thunder and lightning – hit Atlanta throughout the day Wednesday. Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines had canceled about 300 flights in the southeast because of the weather. A\W
