Airbus recibe nuevo pedido de 20 Airbus A350-900 de China Southern Airlines

Con una de las mayores flotas de Airbus en el mundo China Southern Airlines ha firmado un contrato de compra que asciende a 20 aviones Airbus A350-900.

La incorporación de los nuevos aviones A350 supondrá para la aerolínea fortalecer su posición internacional. Actualmente cuenta en su flota con 300 aviones del fabricante europeo, que integran modelos A320, A330 y cinco Airbus A380.La flota total de aviones supera los 500 aviones.

Los nuevos A350-900 aportarán a China Southern Airlines, la capacidad de realizar rutas de largo alcance con un consumo inferior. Con este nuevo pedido Airbus mantiene a fecha de hoy unos pedidos de 841 A350 XWB, de un total de 45 operadores.

China Southern Airlines ha concretado su pedido con la opción del motor Rolls-Royce Trent XWB, el cual ha sido ya una opción seleccionada por 40 clientes.

El número de pedidos de estos propulsores ascienden a 1.600, por lo que se convierte en uno de los motores con mayores ventas.

Para la aerolínea china la relación con Rolls-Royce es conocida, por cuanto la flota de los Airbus A330, Airbus A380 y Boeing 757, cuentan con las motorizaciones del fabricante.

El pasado mes de noviembre, la aerolínea también un pedido para la motorización de diez aviones Airbus A330 cuya opción de motor ha sido el Trent 700 con la opción TotalCare que incluye soporte a largo plazo y cuyo valor ha ascendido a 700 millones de dólares.

With one of the largest Airbus fleets in the world, China Southern Airlines has signed a purchase agreement amounting to 20 Airbus A350-900 aircraft.

The addition of the new A350 will mean for the airline to strengthen its international position. Currently it has in its fleet with 300 aircraft of the European manufacturer, that integrate models A320, A330 and five Airbus A380. The total fleet of airplanes surpasses the 500 airplanes.

The new A350-900 will give China Southern Airlines the ability to conduct long-haul routes with lower fuel consumption. With this new order Airbus maintains today orders of 841 A350 XWB, out of a total of 45 operators.

China Southern Airlines has placed its order with the Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engine option, which has already been selected by 40 customers.
