The Boeing Co. hace presentación pública del primer Boeing 737-8 MAX para Aeroméxico

En una ceremonia en la fábrica de Boeing en Renton, Washington, se develó la primera aeronave Boeing 737-8 MAX para Aeroméxico. La aewrolínea mexicana tiene un pedido formal de un total de noventa aeronaves al fabricante estadounidense. La compañía espera recibir 5 aviones MAX durante el año 2018.

Aeroméxico incorporará el primer avión de la familia Boeing 737 MAX en México. La primera aeronave con registro XA-MAG volará hacia a finales de Febrero 2018 a la República de México.

Aeroméxico comunicó que «la llegada de este equipo forma parte de su estrategia de flota, que tiene como objetivo ofrecer a sus usuarios una mejor experiencia y lo último en tecnología. Nos ponemos a la vanguardia con la adquisición del Boeing 737-8 MAX, el cual cuenta con uno de los motores más avanzados del sector aeronáutico a nivel mundial y utiliza winglets de tecnología avanzada, especialmente diseñados para este equipo».

Configuración del «MAX» mexicano

El MAX 8 tiene un rango de 6 mil 400 kilómetros (3,500 millas náuticas) y está equipado con motores LEAP 1B de CFM de alta eficiencia, permitiendo un ahorro de combustible del orden del 20% con respecto a la competencia en la misma categoría de aeronaves, con una reducción del 40% del impacto sonoro. La configuración de pasajeros del Boeing 737-8 MAX serán de 144 en cabina principal y 16 en Clase Premier, es decir, con la misma capacidad que los aviones 737-800 Next Generation. Aeroméxico reduce el promedio de edad del a flota a 7 años, que está compuesta por 131 aeronaves: Boeing 787-8, 787-9, Boeing 737 y Boeing 737-8 MAX, Embraer E170, E190.

Boeing ha informado que la línea 737 MAX fue diseñada para ofrecer un rendimiento mayor, menores costos por asiento y mayor alcance a nuevos destinos en el mercado de aviones de pasillo único. El MAX 8 entró en servicio el año pasado con clientes de todo el mundo, y las entregas del MAX 9 comenzarán en los próximos meses, en tanto que el MAX 10 se presentó el año pasado en la Feria Aeronáutica de París y está programado que entre en servicio en el transcurso de 2020.

The Boeing Co. makes public presentation of the first Boeing 737-8 MAX for Aeromexico

At a ceremony at the Boeing factory in Renton, Washington, the first Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft was unveiled for Aeromexico. The Mexican airline has a formal order for a total of ninety aircraft to the American manufacturer. The company expects to receive 5 MAX planes during 2018.

Aeromexico will incorporate the first Boeing 737 MAX family aircraft in Mexico. The first aircraft with XA-MAG registration will fly towards the end of February 2018 to the Republic of Mexico.

Aeroméxico reported that «the arrival of this team is part of its fleet strategy, which aims to offer its users a better experience and the latest technology. We put ourselves at the forefront with the acquisition of the Boeing 737-8 MAX, the which has one of the most advanced engines in the aeronautical sector worldwide and uses winglets of advanced technology, specially designed for this equipment».

Configuration of the Mexican «MAX»
