La aerolínea Sun Country Airlines despedirá trabajadores en Minneapolis-St. Paul

Sun Country Airlines recortará la plantilla de 350 trabajadores de operaciones de servicio terrestre en el Aeropuerto Internacional Minneapolis-St. Paul.

La compañía con sede en Eagan, Minnesota, reducirá la fuerza laboral de unos 350 empleados. El comunicado oficial fue emitido el martes, donde la compañía contratará a Global Aviation Services Inc. para efectuar esos servicios. Sun County expresó que estos cambios hará que la aerolínea sea más eficiente. Los despidos fueron notificados de inmediato, teniendo opción los trabajadores pueden volver a solicitar puestos en Global Aviation. Los trabajadores afectados incluyen puestos no sindicalizados dentro de la terminal.

En Diciembre 2017, Sun Country Airlines fue adquirida por Apollo Global Management, con sede en Nueva York. Sun Country presta servicios a 41 aeropuertos en los EEUU, México, el Caribe y Costa Rica.

Sun Country Airlines will cut the workforce of 350 ground service operations workers at the Minneapolis-St. Paul.

The company based in Eagan, Minnesota, will reduce the workforce of about 350 employees. The official statement was issued on Tuesday, where the company will hire Global Aviation Services Inc. to perform those services. Sun County said that these changes will make the airline more efficient. The dismissals were notified immediately, with the option for workers to re-apply for positions in Global Aviation. Affected workers include non-union positions within the terminal.

In December 2017, Sun Country Airlines was acquired by Apollo Global Management, based in New York. Sun Country serves 41 airports in the US, Mexico, the Caribbean and Costa Rica. A \ W
