La filial chilena LAN Express del Grupo Latam Airlines continúa paralizada por reclamos salariales

LAN Express anunció este domingo una nueva reprogramación o cancelación de vuelos nacionales hasta el próximo sábado debido a la extensión de la huelga que desde hace 13 días realizan los tripulantes de cabina por mejoras laborales.

Latam se ha visto en la obligación de cancelar o reprogramar parte de sus vuelos dentro de Chile, a excepción de Isla de Pascua y algunos vuelos puntuales en Sudamérica, hasta el 28 de Abril 2018 expresó un comunicado de la aerolínea. “Estamos muy conscientes que nuestros pasajeros son los más afectados por esta paralización, por lo que estamos haciendo todos nuestro esfuerzos para mitigar los impactos que esta situación les está generando”, señaló Claudia Sender, Vicepresidente Senior de Clientes de Latam Airlines Group.

La situación de conflicto solo afecta a las rutas dentro de Chile y algunos vuelos en Sudamérica. En tanto las operaciones de larga distancia no se verán afectadas. La aerolínea realizó otras dos reprogramaciones desde que los tripulantes iniciaron la huelga hace casi dos semanas, en demanda de mejoras laborales, principalmente las referidas a la disminución de los turnos de trabajo.

El sindicato de tripulantes ha rechazado en dos ocasiones las propuestas del Grupo Latam por lo que la huelga continúa. El paro, que realizan más de 900 operarios, afectó más de un millar de vuelos y perjudicó a más de 100 mil pasajeros que debieron reprogramar sus viajes.

Los pasajeros afectados pueden cambiar la fecha u origen de sus vuelos, o exigir la devolución de los costos de sus tickets sin ninguna penalidad. Silver Airways ha anunciado la adquisición de la aerolínea regional del Caribe Seaborne Airlines que opera en el Caribe y el Estado de Florida.

La adquisición reúne a dos fuertes aerolíneas independientes con flotas de aviones Saab 340B, redes de rutas complementarias y socios comunes de código compartido. Con el próximo despliegue de la recién anunciada nueva flota de ATR-600s de última generación de Silver Airways en ambas redes, la aerolínea combinada tendrá un rango ampliado, lo que le permitirá servir mejor a pasajeros y mercados mientras crea más oportunidades para los empleados y mayores valor para sus socios comerciales.

Red y flotas

Silver Airways continuará operando la red de rutas hacia las Bahamas, Florida complementando la red de rutas de Seaborne Airlines en Puerto Rico, las Islas Vírgenes y el Caribe. Network and fleets

Silver Airways will continue to operate the route network to the Bahamas, Florida, complementing the Seaborne Airlines routes network in Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and the Caribbean. La aerolínea suiza recibió autorización “para explotar servicios regulares internacionales de transporte aéreo de pasajeros, correo y carga entre puntos en la Confederación Suiza, puntos en la República Argentina, puntos intermedios y puntos más allá utilizando aeronaves de gran porte, de conformidad con los derechos de tráfico acordados bilateralmente”.

Bajo la Resolución 227/2018, de la Administración Nacional de Aviación Civil (ANAC), se establece que “la empresa suiza operará sus servicios de conformidad con las autorizaciones, las designaciones y las asignaciones de frecuencias efectuadas por el Gobierno de su país y con estricta sujeción a lo acordado en el marco bilateral aplicable en materia de transporte aéreo, así como también a las leyes y demás normas nacionales e internacionales vigentes y a las condiciones de reciprocidad de tratamiento por parte de las autoridades de la Confederación Suiza para con las empresas de bandera argentina que soliciten similares servicios”.
