El Aeropuerto Václav Havel de Praga lleva adelante una profunda transformación
El Aeropuerto Internacional Václav Havel de la Ciudad de Praga, República Checa iniciará una modernización de sus instalaciones, un nuevo sistema de cámaras, nuevas salas de espera y grandes cambios en su estructura en el futuro.
El Aeropuerto Václav Havel ha tenido en el año 2018 un número récord de tráfico de pasajeros, alrededor de 17 millones de usuarios pasaron por el aeropuerto de la Ciudad de Praga. Se trata de un incremento interanual del 9%. De esta manera, el aeropuerto casi llegó al límite de su capacidad. En vista del creciente número de personas que aprovechan los servicios del aeropuerto, su ampliación y modernización se hace necesaria. Este año van a continuar los trabajos en la Terminal 1, el área internacional para vuelos fuera del Espacio Schengen.
La Terminal 2
Se planea por ejemplo la construcción de una nueva pista de aterrizaje y la ampliación de la Terminal 2. Una vez que se complete la pista, lo que debería ocurrir en el año 2026, la capacidad del aeropuerto debería aumentarse a 21 millones de pasajeros. La Terminal 2 se expandirá en varias etapas. La primera etapa debería comenzar en 2024 y se prevé que en 2027 estará construida la parte ampliada de la terminal. Seguirá una tercera y última fase de reconstrucción. El tercer punto importante será desarrollar la parte pública del aeropuerto. Se trata por ejemplo de los espacios en frente de las terminales, y las áreas al aire libre en todo el aeropuerto.
Expansión de rutas
Junto con la ampliación de los servicios, el Aeropuerto Václav Havel de Praga está introduciendo nuevos vuelos y líneas desde Praga.
