La aerolínea Flybe anuncia cambio de nombre a Virgin Connect
El nuevo propietario de Flybe ha anunciado que la aerolínea pasará a llamarse Virgin Connect en 2020 después de su adquisición. La aerolínea regional británica Flybe cambiará su denominación a Virgin Connect, después de la venta de la aerolínea al grupo liderado por Virgin Atlantic Airways valorado en £ 2.8 millones. La aerolínea regional con sede en Exeter fue vendida en Febrero 2019 a un consorcio de operadores llamado Connect Airways. El cambio de nombre irá acompañado de una nueva librea revisada, modificando el actual color violeta mudará al color rojo. La compañía dijo que los reconocibles aviones violáceos de Flybe se pintarán de rojo a medida que la aerolínea haga la transición a su nueva marca.

The new owner of Flybe has announced that the airline will be renamed Virgin Connect in 2020 after its acquisition. The British regional airline Flybe will change its name to Virgin Connect, after the sale of the airline to the group led by Virgin Atlantic Airways valued at £ 2.8 million. Connect Airways Executive President Mark Anderson said the company would focus on becoming the «most beloved and successful regional airline in Europe». In announcing the new name, Mark Anderson said: “We are very excited about this milestone in the 40-year history of our airline. We will remain true to our heritage and rationale, which offers essential regional connectivity to local communities”.
