Grupo IAG interesada en Easyjet y TAP Air Portugal

El consorcio europeo International Consolidated Airlines Group (IAG), propietario de British Airways, Iberia, Aer Lingus y Vueling, ha anunciado el interés por adquirir la aerolínea low cost británica Easyjet y la portuguesa TAP Air Portugal, mientras que el grupo Air France-KLM también está seriamente interesado por la compañía de Portugal.

Después de un fuerte retorno a la rentabilidad en el verano, IAG ha indicado que podría utilizar su liquidez de efectivo de € 13.000 millones de Euros para buscar más adquisiciones. La salida a compras estarían focalizadas en EasyJet que podría ser un objetivo inminente de IAG, que también podría intentar apoderarse de TAP Air Portugal, la aerolínea de bandera de Portugal, que el Gobierno de Lisboa se encuentra lista poner a la venta.
