Helvetic Airways adquiere cuatro Embraer E190-E1
La aerolínea suiza Helvetic Airways ha sido uno de los clientes más exitosos de Embraer, operando una flota exclusiva de aviones del fabricante brasileño. Helvetic Airways tiene una exclusividad en los nuevos aviones E2 de Embraer. Es el único operador que opera tanto el E190-E2 como el E195-E2, las dos versiones de la nueva generación. Actualmente hay ocho E190-E2 (8) y cuatro E195-E2 (4), que se recibieron recientemente después de que Helvetic cambiara su orden original, optando por la variante para hasta 146 pasajeros.
Debido a los nuevos aviones, la aerolínea suiza decidió reducir su flota de E-Jets de primera generación, pero la gran demanda de vuelos hizo que Helvetic hiciera un movimiento sorprendente. Los cuatro Embraer E190-E1 que aún operan en su flota a través de arrendamiento fueron comprados a la compañía Airfleet Credit Corporation.
Helvetic no opera su propia red de vuelos, sino que proporciona servicios de arrendamiento con tripulación a otras aerolíneas como Swiss Air Lines, proporcionando el avión y la tripulación para reforzar los servicios de sus clientes. Los resultados financieros de Helvetic son tan positivos que han motivado al CEO de la compañía, Tobias Pogorevc, a proponer un bono de CHF 500 y un aumento salarial del 3,5% al 5% a partir de 2023.

Helvetic Airways acquires four Embraer E190-E1
The Swiss airline Helvetic Airways has been one of Embraer’s most successful clients, operating an exclusive fleet of the Brazilian manufacturer’s aircraft. Helvetic Airways has an exclusivity on Embraer’s new E2 aircraft. It is the only operator that operates both the E190-E2 and the E195-E2, the two versions of the new generation. There are currently eight E190-E2s (8) and four E195-E2s (4), which were recently received after Helvetic changed their original order, opting for the variant for up to 146 passengers.
Due to the new planes, the Swiss airline decided to reduce its fleet of first generation E-Jets, but the high demand for flights caused Helvetic to make a surprising move. The four Embraer E190-E1s that still operate in its fleet through leasing were purchased from Airfleet Credit Corporation.
Helvetic does not operate its own flight network, but rather provides wet leasing services to other airlines such as Swiss Air Lines, providing the aircraft and crew to bolster its customers’ services. Helvetic’s financial results are so positive that they have motivated the company’s CEO, Tobias Pogorevc, to propose a CHF 500 bonus and a salary increase of 3.5% to 5% from 2023.
