Lufthansa cancela el martes 800 vuelos por la huelga en los aeropuertos alemanes

Lufthansa ha cancelado 800 de los 1.600 vuelos que tenía programados para este próximo Martes, 10 de Abril, con motivo de la huelga convocada por el sindicato alemán del sector servicios Verdi, que ha llamado a unirse a los paros al personal de los aeropuertos de Frankfurt, Múnich, Colonia y Bremen. Las cancelaciones incluyen 58 vuelos de larga distancia y afectarán a un total de 90.000 pasajeros.

La previsión es que los vuelos vuelvan a operar con normalidad el Miércoles 11 de Abril, informa la compañía en un comunicado. Los pasajeros afectados por estas cancelaciones serán contactados por la propia Lufhtansa, aunque la aerolínea también pide a quienes vayan a volar que acudan con más tiempo de lo normal a los aeropuertos, ya que los tiempos de espera se van a alargar. La compañía ofrece a todos los usuarios, afectados directa o indirectamente, por las cancelaciones, cambiar su vuelo por otro que despegue en los próximos siete días. Lufthansa ha calificado la huelga de “inaceptable y ha asegurado que están trabajando para minimizar el impacto al máximo posible para sus viajeros.
