Desde Norwegian Air Argentina, la filial en las latitudes de la región pampeana ha informado acerca de su programa de crecimiento en el país, que permitirá con escalas comprar pasajes desde Puerto Iguazú hacia Londres. Otra compañía que ofrecerá destinos transatlánticos es Air Europa (España) desde Junio 2019 uniendo Madrid-Iguazú o Madrid-Montevideo-Iguazú.

La empresa low cost Norwegian Air Argentina inició sus operaciones aéreas el 16 Octubre 2018 desde Buenos Aires a destinos iniciales de Córdoba y Mendoza.
