Royal Air Maroc recibe primer Boeing 737-8 MAX

La aerolínea de bandera de Marruecos, Royal Air Maroc (RAM) recibió el Sábado, 22 Diciembre 2018, su primer Boeing 737-8 MAX. La entrega del primer 737 MAX se produce solo una semana después de que la compañía recibió el primer Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. La compañía recibirá tres Boeing 737-8 MAX adicionales y tres más Boeing 787-9 en los próximos meses.

El CEO y Presidente de RAM ha expresado: «Nos complace recibir el primer 737 MAX de nuestra aerolínea, al que pronto se unirán otros tres aviones de la misma familia. El avión de medio recorrido de la compañía forma la columna vertebral de la flota de Royal Air Maroc. La elección de este avión por parte de la compañía está en línea con nuestra estrategia de expandir y modernizar nuestra flota continuamente, y se produce solo unos días después del anuncio de la invitación de Royal Air Maroc a unirse a la Alianza más prestigiosa de Oneworld».

Las nuevas incorporaciones fortalecerán la posición de la compañía en el continente africano. El 737 MAX es la versión más reciente y más eficiente del avión 737. La flota está diseñada para ofrecer rutas más directas punto a punto para los pasajeros.
