La aerolínea panameña Copa Airlines iniciará vuelos a Surinam en 2Q2019

La aerolínea panameña Copa Airlines anunció este Jueves el inicio de vuelos directos entre esta ciudad de Panamá y Paramaribo, capital de la República de Surinam, lo que facilitará la conexión de este país con otras 80 ciudades del continente.

Las operaciones se iniciarán el 6 Julio 2019, tendrán inicialmente dos frecuencias semanales Miércoles y Sábado (2Fq/S), que facilitarán nuevas oportunidades de inversión y el desarrollo económico y turístico recíprocos.

Copa Airlines estrenará el destino número 81 que la línea aérea conecta con el resto del continente a través de su Hub de las Américas, ubicado en el Aeropuerto Internacional de Tocumen, en esta capital. Este centro de conexiones, el de más vuelos internacionales en la región, brinda a los pasajeros tiempos de enlaces más cortos y la posibilidad de completar sus itinerarios sin necesidad de trámites aduaneros o migratorios.

El vuelo operará inicialmente con dos frecuencias semanales los días miércoles y sábados, saliendo a las 09:17 a.m. de Panamá (hora local) y llegando al Aeropuerto Internacional Johan Adolf Pengel a las 15:45 p.m. (hora local). El vuelo de regreso partirá los mismos días desde Paramaribo a la 17:52 p.m., llegando a Panamá a las 20:28 p.m. (hora local). La ruta será operada por un Boeing 737-700 con capacidad para 12 pasajeros en Clase Ejecutiva y 112 en la cabina principal, anunció la aerolínea en un comunicado.
