Presentan programa para liquidación de bienes de Thomas Cook Airlines
La liquidación de los bienes de Thomas Cook Airlines a menos de un mes después de presentar la quiebra, los liquidadores abrieron el plazo este Miércoles 16/10 para la presentación de ofertas por uno de los bienes más preciados de Thomas Cook, los slots en los aeropuertos, muy especialmente en Gatwick, el aeropuerto de una pista con más tráfico del mundo. KPMG, una vez que se conozcan las ofertas, procederá a la subasta de este preciado activo.
La red de agencias físicas se ha vendido, mientras que los aviones están en manos de los propietarios, empresas de alquiler de aviones que esperan recolocarlos en los mercados a la brevedad dado que en estos momentos están inactivos en varios aeropuertos, pagando derechos de uso de pista.
Subasta slots
La subasta de slots incluirá quince derechos de vuelo en verano, desde Abril a Noviembre 2020 en el Aeropuerto London/Gatwick, que interesan a todo el mundo y que podrían valer varias decenas de millones de euros. Entre los pretendientes está IAG, la propietaria de Level, Iberia, British Airways o Vueling que ya se quedó con una cuota sustancial de los derechos de Monarch Airlines cuando esta aerolínea dejó de operar hace tres años atrás.
Entre los posibles interesados se encuentran EasyJet, Virgin Atlantic Airways y Wizz Air que podrían presentar ofertas. Existe una demanda mucho menos importante por los slots de los Aeropuertos London/Stansted y Manchester, y aún menos importante en el caso del Aeropuerto Aberdeen, en Escocia.
