Kuwait Airways eleva pedido 31 aviones acuerdo de US$ 6.000 millones
Kuwait Airways anunció el Lunes 21/02 un acuerdo ampliado de US$ 6.000 millones de Dólares con Airbus Group por treinta y un (31) aviones, reestructurando un acuerdo alcanzado en 2014. Kuwait Airways had initially ordered fifteen Airbus A320NEOs (15) and ten A350s (10) in 2014, with delivery starting in 2019. In February 2020, the Parliament of the Republic of Kuwait opened an investigation panel to investigate allegations of bribery , after Airbus paid huge fines to settle bribery cases in French, British and American courts. Under the settlement, Airbus agreed to pay €3.6bn/US$4.1bn in fines to resolve corruption investigations into some of its aircraft sales.
