Los clientes que se inscriban para participar en la prueba «serán invitados a escanear su rostro, pasaporte y tarjeta de embarque en su teléfono inteligente o tableta antes del viaje, y esta información se mantendrá segura y protegida. Cuando los participantes del ensayo llegan al aeropuerto, las cámaras Smart Bio-Pod verifican su identidad en menos de tres segundos, lo que les permite mantener su pasaporte seguro en sus bolsillos hasta que lleguen a su destino», dice British Airways.

British Airways plans to trial contactless biometric check-in and boarding for six months on flights to Malaga and will roll out the system to other international flights if successful, the airline says.
