Binter Canarias y Embraer SA han alcanzado un acuerdo para la adquisición de cinco nuevos Embraer E195-E2 (5) de los cuales dos llegarán en Noviembre 2023, otros dos en Diciembre 2023 y el restante en Abril 2024 La aerolínea ha anunciado esta nueva ampliación de flota en el marco de las Jornadas Aeronáuticas que tienen lugar en Gran Canaria con periodistas del sector. “La experiencia adquirida a lo largo de los años confirma la excelente valoración que nuestros clientes hacen de este modelo de avión, que encaja muy bien con las rutas más largas de Binter y con mayor volumen de pasajeros, y la llegada de nuevos jets nos permitirá ampliar la oferta de rutas y destinos que tenemos ahora mismo”, dijo Santiago Guerra.
El E195-E2 es el avión más grande y moderno de la familia E2-Jet de aviones comerciales bimotores de mediano alcance, y se han ordenado en la misma configuración especial de clase única de 132 asientos que permite una distancia cómoda entre los pasajeros de 79 centímetros. El interior del E2 es un referente en la industria de la aviación gracias a su configuración de asientos 2+2, sin asiento central, y su compartimento superior se puede adaptar para acomodar hasta un equipaje de mano por pasajero, duplicando la capacidad de los jets regionales convencionales.
